Hi, today I look around an amazing collection of forgotten Ford escort mk1 Capris , cortinas, and other old cars and pickup trucks. #urbanexploration #abandoned #explore #oldschoolclassic #capri #escort #cortina #transit .
Every now and again a mk 1 escort turns up but to see multiple 2 doors along with estates is amazing. Add in the capris, cortina gt and an Escort Nimbus Camper for good measure, an amazing find!
@@jerryexplores7587 I used to have a MK2 escort a MK3 cortina and a MK 4 cortina back in the late eighties, early nineties. I preferred the MK3 cortina though.
My dad had a MK2 Cortina, and I was the owner of a MK2 1300 GL Escort 1979, that my dad bought brand new, then sold it to my elder brother, who then sold it to me, and I in turn sold it to my sister in law’s brother, who wrecked it. What a darn shame because it had been really looked after, getting wax oiled underneath every 2 years and was still pretty unmarked when I sold it in 1988.
My MK 2 Escort was a Friday afternoon car. It kept going wrong and had it broken into 7 times in 4 years. Worst mistake I made was buying it. It was W reg last of the MK2.
I had a Ford Elba camper van, conversion by Dormobile. I bought it from a scrapyard over 30 years ago! It was on the top of a pile! Needed an engine, gearbox, two front wings, a bit of welding but I got it back on the road! God knows what it’s worth now if it is still about!
@@Mad109R I totally get that. All the time I could afford a Mk2 RS2000 I wanted newer cars like Golf GTi's etc Now I lust after an RS I'd have to sell 1 of my kids to get it 😂😂
Some good stuff there and lots of bits to put smiles on oily hands ha shame to see um in that state but those were the days cortina escort capris top stuff.
n hi m8 now that is defo 10 out of 10 not just cars vans but rotavators stationery engines scaffolding ect ect that person is a hoarder and has good gear thanks for the share
It's the usual story Jerry as they were worth nothing when parked up and now mint they would be worth a fortune. As mentioned previously this place indeed has a bit of everything and I could easily spend a day there. So sad to see this but I would of definitely knocked on the door though. Any Campervan or Golf GTi updates ? Thanks for sharing 🙏 ☕👍
Great find mate loads of good stuff mixed in with all the other crap there must be a fortune hid in there. Very interesting place though a moochers paradise. 👍🇬🇧
Awesome video Jerry mate I remember when Stokze did this video what an incredible place it’s shame there all just sat there they definitely need saving for sure mate
Unbelievable Jerry 😮 didn't know the Corsairs, Transits and the other cars were there nearer the house!! The green doors were off a Corsair!! Mk3 'tina GT needs saving!! Great vid 👍
I don't understand why people just leave classic fords or any cars just to rot that's a 2 door mk1 escort as well but looks past repair as looking like it's deep in the ground and the Capri looks in better shape but you don't know good few fords every where i feel sick the person has junk piled up everywhere as well I know they wasn't alot back then but now people pay silly money I couldn't ever afford one now it's truly shocking 🤯😭
On one hand it’s sad to see these cars in such a state…but, on the other hand at least they are still in existence. They could have been cubed years ago, just hope some can be saved soon before there’s nothing left.
When I was a teenager in late 60s early 70s a chap that lived two doors down from us bought a Escort mk1 camper brand new, my dad borrowed it a couple of times and we all went out for the day
Amazing find, what a waste! Great content, you must have invested in bramble proof trousers 👍 worth a door knock, the owner might want to sell some of them….
Now that's a hoarder shame to see how Meny mk1 escorts and Capri and mk1 transit .. they are just wish people like this would like them to be saved and not rotten away
The orange capri got me thinking i remember being bout 19 banging some ones door for it £300 they said there be happy with it sat there years after as i never brought it , bet it got scraped
Whoever owns those cars can’t care about them otherwise they wouldn’t be letting them rot outside like that. There’s historically important cars there. So sad. Thanks for the video it’s superb 👍
hi there , i ran the plate of the camper van and the mot expired last on record in 2007 for an indicator failure , miles on the clock listed on mot was 1180
People like that annoy me, why, just why do they leave these old cars to just rot away, if they're not interest in them Anymore just send them go to auction and let other people with amazing skills restore them or at least do something with them.
If I started filling my garden with old fridges and washing machines the neighbours would soon complain and the council would have me remove them. Then you get these yards out in the sticks full of scrap, plastics and hazardous substances that have been there 40 years or more leaking into the ground and the water system.
That red toolbox on the Triumph looked brand new. It looked like one of those really cheapo toolkits that you wouldn't mind leaving behind if you had to. I suspect a few bits are going to go missing on the poor old Fords in the very near future. It's a sad situation when you have places like these, where the owners probably refuse to sell anything when asked, but also never do anything with it and let it all rot. Eventually these places attract the explorers, the thieves and the vandals. Sadly, places and cars like this rarely have a happy ending...that P100 and a couple of those Mk1 shells didn't look too bad either. Lots of other interesting stuff hoarded away there too. Do you know if anyone has ever spoke to the landowner?
If Reg No is original that is a Gloucestershire number.Probably supplied by Victory Motors Cheltenham or Taylors of Gloucester....(now called Bristol Street Motors)......
We’d all like to see them saved and under cover etc, you do also have to appreciate this guy has bought them and stored them away from the scrap man and banger idiots , he obviously loves old cars, just think they almost definitely wouldn’t be around had he not collected them, could be better kept yes but we’d all like massive sheds eh?
Where on earth would one start trying to sort that lot out. I suppose you would need space beside to start digging in with extended forks. I can imagine there being an absolute fortune in there with that cortina fetching over 5K as it is.
@@jerryexplores7587 Maybe he’s old and lost interest a few years back. That said it doesn’t look like there was any organisation when putting everything there in the first place.
Unbelievable, what is going to be done with them ?? Did you get permission if so are you going to get the cars moved on , such a waste just rotting there 😢
