How cool would it be if someone was to bring that place back to life as it was back then.

That's awesome history Trey, I can't understand why and how the city of Palm Springs or even the State of California would let a place that historic to Hollywood fall into disrepair like that. Imagine how awesome of a museum or even a working resort this place could be today and showing off all that history of Hollywood and the movie industry. It's a shame our so called leaders don't respect and try to save historic places anymore.

People don’t care about the past.. I find that time in Hollywood the most fascinating. Some big time star should save the building and pool and building a resort around it. Palm Springs is a whole different place these days..

The Racket Club must have been a really popular and cool place for the celebrities to hang out with each other, have dinner and a drink back in those days. Maybe play alittle tennis or racket ball. Great research my friend. Now I know who discovered Marilyn. I'm glad that you got this filmed while the pool and some of it is still there. I really enjoyed seeing all of the pictures of these famous people. Wouldn't have recognized many of them from back then where I was still a baby but there is no mistaking who Marilyn Monroe is in them. I enjoyed this episode. Thank You Trey.

Hi Trey, This was really amazing. I didn't even know that the Palm Springs Racquet Club existed until I saw your report a few minutes ago. Just the large amount of real Hollywood stars from back in the day wow Errol Flynn the greatest Robin Hood ever !! and Ralph Bellamy I always think of Trading Places when I hear his name. It's really shameful that the place has just been forgotten about and left to rot away. I wish someone would recue it and take it back to how it looked back in the day. Take Care

Shame on the city of Psalm Springs. For letting a place. With such a rich classic celebrity history. Fall into such disrepair. Psalm Springs could have turned it into a museum. With all the iconic photos/personal items, etc. Of iconic Hollywood celebrities. It's a shame in this country. Historic buildings are not valued as much. Like in other countries. Those photos blew me away. The comment on Marilyn's statue was amusing. But I was looking at those awesome heels. They did an amazing job on the statue..Marilyn looked beautiful in the photos. Great job Trey!🎾🎬👍👍👏👏

Love it! Bonus point for the cheeky shout out at the end. Elvis met Marilyn in 1960 when she was filming Lets Make Love and he was making G I Blues he also met Frankie Vaughan from the same film. Let's Make Love featured Elvis played by an actor he was the only star who didn't play himself we even have Milton Berle. Let's Make Love is the ultimate Marilyn film for Elvis fans but not many fans know it. 😂 There was a story about Elvis hooking up with Marilyn but that was debunked by Elvis friends. They just said hello to each other and talked for a few minutes. Joe Esposito is the source for that one
