The other day on Reddit, I saw a thread about “best of the year” videos and which beauty influencers do you actually trust. So many people said Jessica Braun’s Jammy Awards!
I wish you would say your personal shade for EVERY product, not just hit and miss. For me, I enjoy your videos for what you recommended, but also rely on your shade selections because our complexions are so similar. I hope that makes sense. I still enjoy ALL of your videos though. I have watched your videos and vlogs faithfully for close to a decade.
The tinted hydrator from wet n wild has been my fave for 2023. The shade range is abysmal but I have oily skin and even though it’s a dewier finish, it works for me 💄💄
I love that Jammy awards! Please don’t change the name, I love it, and I didn’t even watch you prior to your name now! It’s just so fun! The glowy supergel I literally returned it because I hated it so much! I tried using it every way and found no difference, plus it lifted my foundation as a highlight, just could not get behind it
💄💄So off topic but I feel like it was the first thing that popped into my head and wanted to share. I feel like this year I had discovered that there is still beauty and kindness in humanity. Hope everyone is having a great day!!
💄💄 I'm late to the party, but I tried, and fell in love with, the L'oreal Tru Match serum foundation. I now hate all my other foundations, nothing else looks anywhere near as good!
💄 I think My favorite thing that I discovered this year is just putting powder on my face after my moisturizer and just using that as like a super ultra light all morning foundation because it takes away the the oils and it just looks really good 💄
💄💄 my favorite find this year is the Clio mascara (red package). It is amazing! Does not flake, acts like a tubing mascara, comes off easily, lengthens my lashes and they look like I am wearing false lashes.

My favorite item of the year was a bread machine! Homemade bread is incredible but with so many babies I don’t have the time for it, the bread machine takes the work out of it! 💄
My biggest change to my makeup game in 2023 was the use of a foundation brush! I have always been a sponge girl, but this year I discovered and LOVED using a brush to apply foundation!! 💄💄
💄💄 I tried the Misscha BB cream that Jessica is always raving about and I absolutely love it! I shared it with my daughter-in-law - now she loves it too - thank you so much for the suggestion, Jessica.
💄💄 Girl I discovered so much makeup I am absolutely in LOVE with, the Kiko blush sticks, juvias place cream bronzer, ami Cole loose powder, Fenty skin tint stick, don't even get me started!! 😂
💄💄 My favorite item of the year was definitely the new candy collection of the Maybelline Lifter Gloss. Specially the shades Bubblegum, Sweetheart and Taffy. So good! 💋
Fave new makeup of the year is from Maybelline - the Falsies Surreal Extensions Waterproof Mascara. It is SO good - volume and length, doesn't clump, can build and build and build... love it. 💄💄 💋
💄💄for me 2023 was all about discovering that make up can be fun to play with. No favorites so far but boy am I glad I found the Brauns on RU-vid 😊 Thank you for all you and Tyler do, it was so much fun and I am looking forward to the content you two will create in 2024😘
My fave product from this year is the Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint. It’s absolutely beautiful. It surprisingly has a decent amount of coverage and leaves the most beautiful glow (but not dewey) it’s perfection💄💄
💄This was a year of using up makeup i already have and will continue into next year and just buying things I know I like for like mascara and brows. But I loved the new loreal true match foundation for an everyday foundation.
💄 💄 My favorite bronzer of the year is the covergirl clean matte face powder in buff beige, I’m really fair so most bronzers are too deep/warm for me. I love that I can go crazy with this one and it just looks flawless and neutral.

💄💄 my absolute favorite product of the year is Catrice concealer, whenever I wear that product I feel more beautiful and radiant when ı look at the mirror 👀 there is something magical about it.
My product of the year is the Saie Glow Gel! I layer it on top of my tinted moisturizer and it looks like a have a filter on. It's gorgeous! Any time I get compliments on my skin, I have that on. I burned through my first bottle of it. I qualified for Rouge already this year, so I'm waiting until January to repurchase so it goes towards next year's qualification... almost there. Can't wait!
💄 💄 Okay here we go; The Milani lip oils - I’m not even a gloss girly but these are super comfortable and moisturizing but not too sticky, love the colors, the scents, they are also pretty dummy proof (I’m not graceful with gloss, my favorite is the strawberry melon) Maybelline superstay lip crayons - pigmented, beautiful shades (my favorite is living on the edge) they last for so long on the lips but aren’t too drying Fell back in love with my Tarte Amazonian clay blushes (specifically the shade paaaarty) and I have to second Jess on the tower 28 mascara, GAMECHANGER!
💄💄I was on a low buy this year so nothing new blew me away but probably my Hourglass pallete and Laura Gellar pink buttercream blush were the favorite things I was reacquainted with.
💄💄 My favorite products were Lume deodorant, Tree Hut Vitamin C scrub and lotion, the Impress Press-on Falsies, a powder puff, and Maybelline instant age rewind concealer in my skin tone and pink tone.
💄💄 I started re purchasing make up again during Black Friday and am astonished by how make up has changed. But also how I need to change how I apply make up now that I’m getting older.
I just recently bought the Sephora liner and Tower 28 mascara off your recommendation and I absolutely love both. That sephora liner doesn't budge at all. And the mascara is chefs kiss 💋.
💄💄 I’m a waterproof mascara girl due to extremely watery & sensitive eyes. Maybelline the Falsies Surreal waterproof mascara has been a go to discovery this year! Love the length & definition it gives my average lashes. Never smudges or flakes. Loved the Jammie Awards again this year! And looking forward to the lifestyle favs!
💄 💄 favorite/most used product was KVD liquid lip in Lolita (I know it’s an oldie but it gives me all the 90’s vibes) and my biggest realization in makeup this year, less is more when it comes to eye makeup. 💄💄mine is a triangle puff like you use to pull your eye lid back for eyeliner. I use those for applying my foundation. It literally takes 3 seconds and it’s perfect. The Nyx Bear with me serum concealer is something I found this year that I can’t stop using.
here is a tip to get thru the last little bits of your beloved mascara. run it (closed of course) thru hot/warm water for a few minutes in the sink or let it sit in warm water while getting ready. works like a charm on me. this works too in the winter when your mascara gets cold and a little stiff. the warm water softens the mascara making it easy to glide on. prefer this way than stuffing it in my bra haha so much faster and easier.
