Let me tell you 1% of my story I am 18 years old muslim boy I have tried so many times but failed but when i got into islam Now it is the easiest thing for me and now my mind is crystal clear and i can focus easily i not only lower my gaze but also say : astagfirullah 3 times So today i was alone at home in the evening and one notification from youtube came which has the crazy red flag thumbnail the channel was good and educational but it wasn't islamic so it happened and i saw that and got urge bcz i was alone with internet so i started thinking that allah is watching me and didn't do it ❤❤❤ Edit : My advice : whenever you feel like doing just think it as a test from allah and my friend if you pass that test you are going to see unbelievable rewards (not talking about nofap benefits )in no time its my experience ❤️❤️❤️

I like this idea but I don't get why it has to be "lowering" the gaze like isn't that where most booties usually reside? I prefer "Heads Up Gaze". Focus on people's heads, up or away. Again I like this idea of not looking/checking out bodies. I also feel like looking down is seen as shy or sad and I don't wanna come across that way. I want to come across confident so my chin and gaze will stay up!

I am a female and I really appreciate this video. Women struggle with this too, I am a bisexual woman I struggle with urges like this toward women too. I don’t want to be this way but God made me this way to relate with men. I know this and I empathize with men. I do my best as a woman to dress modestly. I am not perfect because we live in a fallen world. And it can be so hard sometimes to find modest clothing. But I agree I hate it when women at the gym wear extremely immodest clothes. It makes me uncomfortable…and I do find it attractive so it doesn’t help my urges either. I want to be clean and I want my life to be filled with healthy dopamine. Not instant dopamine, I don’t watch porn but I do struggle with masturbation.

It took me a year and a half (I was addicted to it every day) to hold a 20-day streak and try doing it less frequently instead of cold turkey. But now ever since I reached the 20 ish mark. I suddenly realized I wasn't addicted anymore. Almost like I gained some superpower where I could build this tolerance that allows me to have this level of discipline that makes me completely control my urges without relapsing and even if I have an urge I can easily put it in the back of my head and tell myself that I'm the one who controls there actions and not my emotions until it eventually goes away. and now I can go cold turkey without any problem.

Another piece of advice i could give is to cut the days...Basically since you are Human it wont be easy to immediately stop...go from everyday to every 2 days to once a week to once every 2 weeks....Basically take your time because fighting addiction is not easy so battle just try something which is comfortable for you...Great video btw Lucid
