As a Jake main, I run coffeezilla, increased upwards velocity from launch attacks, and increased damage on the ground. This means I can launch earlier, and have some more usage out of my stretch. Perks in this game really do depend on who you're playing.

Remember not to use Snowball Effect if your team has Iron Giant because he’ll probably have the most damage on him most of the match and it does count ur team too!

snowball effect is trash it would be switching whoever is being hurt the most and is gonna end up probably hurting you so just use ignite or collateral damge

There’s a perk that bounces you back to the middle after a ringout near the edge. Perfect for fighting near the edge with characters like Superman as you don’t have to risk ringing yourself out

I don't think the snow ball effect is as universal as you think. It's damage to the fighter with the most damage. This includes u and your teammates in your calculations. And with 4 p. The situation where you want more damage on the guy with the highest % is kind of overkill. Cause at that point you want to land a killing move on them rather than another jab. My take is that it's more of a situational perk vs something like iron giant, someone who is really hard to kill.

@@laurenlootgoblin7711 in a 1v1. There is more controll on the target. Because it's just you and the other. So this becomes useful for having the lead. After the first hit, you start doing more damage, and can widen the gap. And after first stock, its disabled until you die. (Effectively) But this is thought out useless if you lose that initiative. As it doesn't help you catch up. it's still a win more type of thing.

But it still might be more powerful than the other damage dealing moves, even in 2v2 - if you play for it with your team to get early damage on one of them and then just keep it rolling, you're getting a large damage increase on every attack landed, so given that you're leading, you gain a greater lead, and then if are losing and take ringouts, it can possibly help close out those kills by getting them to kill percentage faster. It's definitely still situational, but I feel like you're more in control of it than the 5% with specific move types.

are the damage boost/reduction perks actually any good? most attacks are deal so little damage its worthless as it would only *maybe* increase by 1 damage *if* the game rounds up damage as +7% to attacks that do around 7 damage average (like 80% of attacks) that only does 7.7 damage, which is literally nothing

Think about it this way. Snowball stacked in twos: every time you would've had an enemy at 100% damage, they're instead at 115%. Or "in order to get someone to 100% damage, you only have to deal 87% to them" Per move it's a tiny increase, but we hit a lot and it adds up over time fast. Especially in twos where it's always active, and you have two people both getting full value out of it on the same enemy.

If your active playstyle is to always stick around your teammate then yes use it. But remember most times you will be split up, so it won't proc as often as a raw defensive buff

does stacks count as debuffed? For example if someone has 2/5 stacks of ignite, they technically aren’t under the ignite debuff yet until it’s 5/5 stacks. would there be a 5 percent damage boost against enemies with just some of the stacks for the debuff. (for the +5% against debuffed enemies perk)

Just my opinion but saying snowball effect is the best because the others are very situational, well I mean, what's more situational than doing more damage to only 1 out of 4 characters? Tbh I think all the damage perks are kinda bad, minimal reward and all of them are super situational. No shade though, still a lot of great tips in the video thanks for this.

No you are absolutely right tho, the perks are just for minimal boosts to provide an edge. The big winners for me are Triple jump and the defensive one against projectiles. Those matchups are nightmares for me so having it really helps.

Totally agree, I feel like all of the damage buff perks are really underpowered. And personally as a bugs bunny main I would rather use my perks to debuff enemies, reduce cooldowns but hitting debugged enemies, and reduce cooldowns. Tasmanian trigonometry is also so broken I don’t see how 7% damage to one person is even comparable

The thing about triple jump is with people like Taz it gets pretty hard to use as hes a horizontal character and doesn’t fight much in the air

Yes, but thats exactly part of it, you're at a disadvantage already versus vertical style characters as Taz, if that vertical style character or even hybrid character takes triple jump it makes that disadvantage bigger. There might be other perks that lessen that disadvantage, but matching their triple jump is definitely a solid way.

Lebron main here, grey health perk is better in every single way. That goes for 1v1 and 2v2. The others are just flat out bad. Also, just a tip, Run ice, ignite, and projectile speed. Without a doubt the best perks possible for him no matter the situation.

It's very situational unless you have a gameplay to ALWAYS be next to your teammate. More time will be split up fighting opponents 1v1 on different sides of the map and they won't take effect. It's not bad but it requires a very specific situation to proc

Yeah, Snowball is pretty good. But it's also very situational. If you or your teammate are playing a tank character and likely to be at a high percentage that lowers the odds that an enemy will be affected. That's why they felt comfortable making it 7/15%. Another important thing- YOU SHOULD *ALMOST NEVER* STACK 'MAKE IT RAIN, DOG'. The second person who equips it makes the perk go from 20% to 25% increased projectile speed. 20% projectile speed increase is worth a slot. 5% projectile speed increase is not. IF YOUR TEAMMATE IS USING IT, USE A DIFFERENT PERK unless there's *literally no other option.*

It doesn't backfire on you to receive damage. But yes if your damage is higher than the enemies then it won't proc. Until their damage is higher than yours

Are you sure slowball effect isn’t just giving you a boost against the person who’s done the most damage in the game not who has the most damage done to them? That’s how I’ve been interpreting it and if that’s the case it wouldn’t be very good if you’re doing better than the other person cause your overall damage done in that game will be higher than theirs

No I'm sure, it's current damage on the health percent. In the video wonder woman and shaggy were at 0. So up tilt did only 4 damage. Once shaggy reached higher percent than me. He took 5 damage then 6 damage

Hi. Arya main here. Personally I use triple jump for combo (a must have on Arya), the vertically boost on attack and the 5 more percent on the dodge distance. I love this build

Most perk are good but sadly they need to be stack. Perk below 10% are completely useless by themselves.

If it working for you then keep putting them on. I'm just not wasting a perk slot for below 10%. The buff above 10% is already low. Below 10% buff just weaker. So to me there useless unless stack.

@@KingAfrica4 After playing the game more. 5% not bad if combo with the right perks. I was looking at the perk as separate not together at the time. I know better now. Like if you pick brawler, snowball and punch power. That 17% if all conditions are met. So yeah I admit there not useless.

Wow no block except Steve in universe. That’s funny Wonder Woman is built for blocking this why I have to laugh 😂 plus triple jump nice perk put I notice it does not work with all characters because of their fighting style. Plus your build has to be based around there fighting style. Or 50% of the perks you use will not affect your character. Tested triple jump on Wonder Woman does in lab doesn’t effect her jump at all.

Triple jump no debate on it his moves combo easily while in mid air so a triple jump is just a God send for shaggy considering how his moves can easily miss on the ground and I don't know about finn he's not a character I use

I would say low coffeezilla, the red one in which enemies take more damage from bouncing off of objects, and then triple jump because it's just good.

Yeah remove Kryptonian and throw on triple jump. 100 is ok since you'll be living long usually as a tank and if you are elusive enough.
