The First Descendant is a free third-person cooperative action RPG shooter featuring high-quality graphics. Experience the fun of strategic boss fights through 4-player co-op and various unique characters, exciting gunplay, and looting. Idk about all the details but I played with someone with a Contagion Freyna build in mining blockade and she burned through the wave faster than the Ultimate Bunnies, like way faster. Instant full wave clear on spawn. I basically just walked around and picked up gold and shards and never fired a shot. The map looked like max range Valby coverage but green. I have never seen a Freyna obliterate everything like that before.

agreed normal descendants are for the birds. i am master 26 with everything in the game at 40, except peace maker. i refuse to let the game waste my time with bull shit. i have great builds an can solo everything except the force social club bull shit.

Maybe it's because I'm tired from work and want to sleep but I saw all the text and this room 0 and that room 0 and just thought no. If I play her i'll just toss poison in whatever way is off cd and let them die.

All the extra poisons stack on top of each other so you get an absolute shit ton of damage over time unless you use contagion

As a developer, this is equally comical and sad. Creating 5 different statuses that do the exact same thing highlights how poorly the code must have been written to require such a bandaid. It's insane that in a video game they didn't consider dots refreshing / stacking

getting 12 minute clears on block kuiper mining because of this buff. it feels so good to walk up to an objective, shoot 1 ability, and literally walk away while everything dies from contagion.

.... why didnt they just let you easily put all the debuffs on 1 target? This just seems extremely overcomplicated, especially in a game with randoms you play with which will make it nearly impossible to get all your poisons on 1 target... seems very stupid. And i was really excited when i saw the buffs on paper because shes the only person i like to play in this game since i like poison based characters

@marcoscunha511 ehh, i already didnt like how this game felt at all, only frenya felt good to use, even with her issues. Now this fixes some, but just overcompcates it. Vs mobs solo you should be able to just destroy rooms in an instant, but with other players, fighting each other to get your hits in, its gonna feel a lot worse

They should've given her some way to stack DoT on a boss. There's already multiple options for clearing mobs, and a DoT character is normally for bossing. Right now she has 2 mob options and 2 support options

Bunny's quit when they see me lol....my freyna completely eliminates bunny . I cover rooms in constant poison that 1 hits everything. Bunnies send me messages asking me to stay on one side of map 😂

New player here. I was going to build my Freyna, but I think I'll stick to Bunny and Valby for now. I love DoT in games, but more often than not, it's a wonky implementation that doesn't do what you expect or want. I just want to build solid farmers so I can get every legendary weapon and every character I want in the game. It seems Bunny and Valby would be the best to do that.

I used a Freyna post buff with 0 catalyst and 0 activator on sterile land special operation, and I cleared an area faster than the bunnys on the team every single time, the new freyna can destroy easily those missions where enemies are grouped. I Also get along with a freyna in the asylum infiltration and damn, I almost didnt see any enemy cause the freyna destroyed everything so fast. I recommend you to try the new freyna, you dont need any catalyst, and you will be surprised

I love freyna and i love that she is a lot more powerful now but i still feel like she is kinda messed up... they could have just made room 0 do more damage and make poison stackable, i mean all effects should be stackable really... the new passive with the puddles is very nice though :)

I've been destroying everything with her😂😂😂😂 even bosses with fallen hope. Contagion is the module you want. Duration,range and cool down melt bosses with her 4th. Fallen hope with at least 2 copies make enemies explode and does massive damage to bosses. Correction it spreads.. don't try it in the laboratory. Use it on the field.

I feel like this is just a buff and not a rework. A rework changes the way the character plays completely... her current "rework" just buffed her damage. She still plays the same way that she plays before the "rework", but now her current transcendent mods gets rid of all of the extra DOTs that came with her "rework" i.e. Nightmare, Panic, Despair. I just don't understand why they don't keep those extra DOTs with the transcendent mods. At least she got more damage

The debuff problem isn’t just Freyna. It’s also buffs, with Enzo for example. You have to wait for the drones of his 4 to disappear on teammates before reapplying them, and since said teammates having skill duration mods equipped impacts that duration, it’s not the same time for any of your teammates, forcing you to look at them to see when at least a couple don’t have the drone anymore to recast your 4, otherwise only one guy will get the drone. That’s ridiculous.

im still confused as to why room 0 says it has 7m range, says it has a max expandable range of 300%, but is unaffected by range mods. and why they nerfed the range of putride venom?

They had a mini hotfox "c" that says it fixed a bug where Neurotoxin Synthesis wasn't buffing Room 0 Trauma. Does it work now? And if so, is it back to being one of her best mods again?

Also, even more so for bossing, I believe Neurotoxin Synthesis gives a buff to her 4's unique weapon. Which is what you see in all the solo boss kills. So I'm not sure you should say it is her worst mod.....

Freyna is AWESOME (finally) thanks to the buff, however I wont stop saying that the Fallen Hope NEEDS an EXTREME BUFF, it has to be as powerful as the Thunder Cage if not even more powerful. Unlike Bunny Freyna NEEDS a weapon to be good but the Fallen Hope its not that good it needs more power, and a 100% explosion rate like the Thunder Cage.

It sounds like it's a more complicated way to create the same problems. Originally: her debuffs don't refresh or stack. Now: her debuffs will stack, but only apply when you apply Room 0. Room 0 is applied by every skill, but it doesn't refresh or stack. So basically, just like the original, if the target is debuffed by you already, you won't be able to apply any other debuff until that first one expires because you can't apply the triggering Room 0 until your first Room 0 expires? Why not just make it so instead of Room 0 triggering separate, unique debuffs, each skill applies Room 0 AND a unique debuff? So, Room 0 and Panic are on the target, you do your ultimate and Room 0 won't apply/refresh but Nightmare will because it's separate and no longer a condition of Room 0 needing to be "applied" by the same skill first. Ideally, debuffs should be refreshed, which would solve this entire issue, but I'm guessing that's a harder programming issue than simply putting a second debuff on the skill--they just need to unlink that second debuff (Panic, Nightmare, etc) from the first (Room 0) so they can apply separately.

Still trash to play. They need to fix the core problem which is their system isn't designed to deal with different sources of DOT damage. The game frankly looks like it wasn't made with DOTs in mind at all and this damage type was tacked on after the fact. If there are more than one Freyna in a party someone is completely useless.
