They don't a lot of the times. You can see in scenes like when Leslie is giving Andy instructions on how to get into her drawer and he stops paying attention and looks off to the side like a dog. In the bloopers, they did that scene like 10 times because no one could stop laughing.
@Captain Dreadnought: I know I'm 2 years too late to your comment, but the more I see of Andy, the more I realize you are 100% correct. I was watching a video in which Ron Swanson was watching a videotape of himself talking to himself, and when it first started, Andy had this childlike "OMG!!!" look on his face... he is absolutely a human puppy, just as excited as possible by literally everything.
MikeRiderOOO Totally right! Funny thing: in a Guardians of the Galaxy conference they asked Chris Pratt which animal Starlord would be and he answered precisely: golden retriever puppy... hahaha
My favourite moments are when he hurls himself into the pit, head first to escape being seen by Anne and when he types Leslie's symptoms into the computer and he thinks she might be having "connectivity problems".
+Jason Last I loved that interview (I think I know which one you're talking about)...the head writer said it almost didn't get put in out of spite because it was such a good joke he was jealous he didn't come up with it himself. 😂
My favorite one is when aprils telling the camera that they did so many doctors visits they wont have to go for another ten years cause theyre smart, and when she said that andy chucked something at the wall and hit himself in the head.
It goes greatly to show how little things can make Andy happy when he says that the lack of lasers in ''laser studies'' is one the most significant bummers in his life.
I've never seen one episode of parks and recreation but I've been watching these videos, just crying of laughter. I think it's time I go check the episodes out
I feel like we as an audience should expect Andy's jokes cause he is so stupid, but I swear the writers on this show surprise me with his character everytime. Always has me cracking up
ishmam nawar Not really only a little, which is amazing. He said in an interview once that he and the rest of the cast really do follow the writers scripts, and then they get a chance to be creative but in the end product is normally the script. But yes most of Andy's best one liners are indeed improved by Chris pratt.
Lauren McMichael Chris Pratt actually does a lot of improvised lines, i'd say the most in the show haha, its pretty evident in outtakes, his line changes every time in the same scene, he wasnt even suppose to be a regular on the show, but they loved his improvised lines and comedic timing so much that they decided to keep him and he became a fan favorite.
"Oh, look, the POLICE even love it. They're siren-ing back to uuuus! *gasp* That's awesome---I'm just gonna tell 'em that we heard 'em. 'Heard you, bud.'" >.< So freaking adorable!!
