Great video Doctor Manhattan was just one of those characters that you knew was just going to be extremely overpowered and I was happy to see at DC brought him to the Forefront. How do you think Doctor Manhattan would do in a verse like the King Verse.
King verse is VERY tough competition. I could see him investigating the dark tower and trying to figure it out like he tried to figure out dc through new 52 to doomsday clock. Would be an amazing read and would definitely hurt your brain
@@LumosTheromax yeah it would be crazy to see him go through the dark tower but i love to see how he would interact with someone like Pennywise and if they were to fight would Dr Manhattan come out alive.

im not sure the darkness scales above manhattan, its shown pretty often that manhattan isnt the hardest person to manipulate even just by talking to him so him being manipulated by the great darkness doesnt really say much.
Whether you think the great darkness isn’t above him or not it’s directly stated Manhattan was mind haxed by the great darkness to do everything he did in doomsday clock. He searched creation for a being specifically to deal with earths heroes. Every other person affected by the great darkness passively just kinda does what he wants. It’s possible that he just talked him into doing it, but I can’t find any evidence he just talked him into it. However it is stated Manhattan was specifically cursed as justice league incarnate issue 4 specifically says. This implies he has power over manhattan via that curse. Manhattan although powerful has never demonstrated anything on the level of the great darkness and the feats the great darkness brings to the table
@@LumosTheromax Im not entirely convinced that when it says "cursed" it means literally like a hex or something, while it entirely could be an actual curse but i can also see with the context of how the word "cursed" is used to be more of the great darkness setting manhattan on a hard or unfavorable task as both definitions of the word work in this context. Also i believe manhattan just getting to the DC universe as probably the highest feat in DC that i know of, the fact that he didnt have connective energy until he got to DC would imply that the watchmen universe is outside of the presence's creations and that opens up a whole load of questions.
@@shastacat9632 I think passing through the source wall is op but the source wall still isn’t great darkness level. The great darkness has shown up through it as well during swamp thing #50 unless you think he just skipped it somehow. It’s not impossible as even Kyle rayner passed it as well as Barry Allen. I don’t think cursed would mean anything more than a mind hax in this scenario, unless we have more info simply because that’s how he did it to every other person the great darkness’s mind haxxed Difference in opinion I guess
@@LumosTheromax the way it seems to me is that manhattan was able to find the DC universe in the overvoid, similar to when lucifer left at the end of lucifer which is what i meant by the highest implied feat ive seen. When it comes to the curse i suppose it honestly doesnt matter if it was an actual curse or not, manhattans mental fortitude has always been his weak point to the point that even a smart human could exploit it.

I agree he gets used by other intellects of high capacity but I wouldn't say that ozymandias cursed manhattan to leave his universe, he just used logic against him. Lucifer has better feats confirmed for sure. He was creating his own creations out in the overvoid. I can speculate Manhattan could do that but can only confirm he can tamper with them and traverse the overvoid as Lucifer has.
He knew Superman could destroy him or he wouldn't even have come up with those two possibilities. Manhattan would've looked at Superman level of power and seen he just couldn't destroy him. But it’s more an impressive thing for superman, the fact Manhattan even considered superman destroying him as possibility.

@@LumosTheromax cause in the old swampman comic the presence and the great evil beast where equal in power but the great evil beast was only a fraction of the actual great darkness and in justice league dark we learned that the upside down man is a fraction of the great darkness or shadowrealm i think they are the same and he was hecates equal who scales way above the presence
