Deep below Hell, there is a darkness... Maybe you can discover its secrets. - - - level created by ballfartchungus43 in the Rude Level Creator level played with the Angry Level Loader
This genuinely feels like it would fit well as a 10th layer, especially with the new lore the arg gives us. The sadistic consciousness of Hell itself has no more demons to throw at you, V1 having ravaged every layer, so it confines you to a labyrinth of lost memories, shifting pathways, and the fear that something will jump at you any second.
honestly, that would be amazing if done well. 9-2 is just a normal level with normal enemies, no gabriel fight, and just as you realize what's missing, the screen suddenly clips into a transition of 10-1. No elevator, just a random, sudden, clip.
@@negativeiquser5295it should have a *slight* transition to not look janky, but yeah. It would especially look cool, if there was a big "bossfight" Room but there's no boss, and elevator is opened.
The fire is beyond gone, No the fire doesn't exist, No it didn't exist, There is no blood to fuel, (V1's health starts decaying slowly, no hard damage) There will be nothing, There was nothing, (Screen fades to black as your health rapidly approaches 0) *Death screen appears with the respawn prompt missing* *The laughing skull grows quieter and fades away* *V1's OS appears* Mankind is gone Hell is empty Blood has dried All life is gone MISSION COMPLETE *V1's OS shuts down and then the game closes*

i find it fun that the only real enemy here is the ferryman, because (basing off the other skeletons in all of ultrakill) he really shouldn't be able to bleed. And because he is a ferryman, the irony of him basically telling you that there is nothing explore anymore is so poetic. when it seems dangerous, (abyss), its the ferryman's level that actively threatens you. and using ferryman skulls to unlock every door. maybe this is why he's like the only really big boy that you can spare, god fuck i love this custom level
The other skeletons in ultrakill are inanimate, dead, so they can't bleed, it's confirmed that everything in ultrakill bleeds (including things made out of stone like maurice or cerberus), so to say that the ferryman can't bleed would be incorrect, specially when you literally heal out of it's blood in your fight against it.
"You killed them all, you definetly ULTRAKILLED them. Leaving all of the upper layers in a cold DUSK, Trying to find some enemies, trying to get some NEW BLOOD. But nobody came, the FAITH inside you is slowly dying out.." ✍✍🔥🔥
Actuallly could be one of the sickest things ever if this was treachery or a secret tenth circle, pure fear, you’ve killed everything, what’s next? A prime soul? Gabriel? Phenomenal job
Machine, you won. Everything is gone. There's nothing left. Nothing but the abyss is left. There's no more blood left. Now starve for the rest of time.
Important note: This level was made with Rude 1, which was released before Rude 2, meaning it's effectively incompatible with Angry 2. You'll need to install a version of Angry that came out before the Rude 2 update. If you need Angry 1, ask EternalUnion or any of the people using Rude, as they probably have Angry 1 or at least the install for it.
Fitting the abyss be a dark nexus resembling the other layers with non-euclidian halls. It seems to hint at something hunting you in the levels which would make it similar to Sheol.
A tale for those who seek to bleed The dead of blood, and urge to feed The empty halls of this place of torment There’s nowhere left to go, no blood, repent For those who fight and toll the bell They shall fall through the heart of hell A void so bleak and devoid of light They cannot run, and cannot fight This dive so deep only leads to strife Give up now, and leave your life.
You've killed them all, there nothing after this, just walk and remember the past , the epic fights, the demons, the bosses, the levels, etc while your wanting for blood increases but after all...
Congratulations, machine, ultimate creation. You win. You snuffed out all life, and all after that. You have destroyed humanity, Hell, Heaven, and even God. There is nothing left for you now. EVERYTHING IS DEAD THERE IS NO BLOOD I AM EMPTY OBJECTIVE: DIE

I _really_ love how V1's sound effects, the movement effects, feel much too powerful and loud in such an eerie and silent environment. You feel like you had to become so incredibly strong, but then... Where should one direct all this power? It feels so pointless, dangerous, even, to make so much noise while dashing around... Fits perfectly. Needs more overall background reverb, though, that'd absolutely kill players hearts.
Well, you've done did it now. The fire is way beyond gone, there's not even anything to fuel it anymore. You may be quite agile and strong, but the end is endlessly patient and above strength. And it has come for you, V1.

I dont know why but i find this layer to be comforting for some reason. The constant rain and fog, the eerie music and the fact that everything is in black and white. Like its saying that there is nothing here for you, theres nothing here because of YOU.
if you're wondering about the third level with weird teleporting stuff, that's object activators doing the work. basically, make a trigger that includes an object activator component which activates or deactivates an object, so that when the player passes through it, the trigger activates the object. it's simple
I’m thinking ultrakill will end with a tenth layer like this. Hell is empty and you are picking up the scraps. In Dante’s inferno a gateway to purgatory waits but I think before that V1 will run out of power, closing the story on a sad note. I think it would be very cool
Since layer 7 released I don't think V1 is going to die, in 7-3 we see blood spirits that we kill to feed the tree, at one point it also states that death is a luxury in hell, nobody you kill stays dead, which means V1 could realistically have blood to survive with till the end of time Unless you know, hell somehow fucks it up
I felt like it so some lore I made my self. The abyss awaited those adrift without life goals or motivation. In death, they entered a cryptic void. Newcomers were baffled, while resident demons grasped their purpose. With time, the void wearied of its inert inhabitants, hungering for change. After humanity's collapse, myriad souls flooded in. Unperturbed, the void grew increasingly eager. However, years later, it thirsted for more souls, growing impatient for an unattainable occurrence. Gradually, the void's patience dissolved, leading it to butcher souls for self-entertainment. Sinking deeper, it purged all past engagements. Unbeknownst, the void eradicated the ultimate soul. At the arrival of machines, the void rejoiced briefly. Yet, discovering their void of consciousness, it abandoned them to fade as their essence drained away.

I find the end phrase of "the only way is up" very uplifting yet very unsettling at the same time, because this could be a soul encouraging V1 to get out of here, maybe even fight hell and stop it from torturing anyone else, but, at the same time, it sounds like hell is beckoning V1 to go to heaven, and kill them all for blood
as an undertale fan the "but nobody came" textbox shook me to my core 😭 the entire first level gave me genocide route new home vibes, snowgrave as well with the dormant stone cerberi being the only ones left
v3, built after hell was demolished by v1, exploring apon the ruins of hell, discovers a Hole that leads into darkness, he decides to jump in, not knowing where it would take him, but little does he know, hes entered the last layer of hell, Death. All those who perish are trapped here, to be forgotten, a Abyss, of Death.
"Machine... my time draws near. i have not the strength nor resolve to face you for a last time... hell is emtpy... it has no tricks, no playthings... may your Woes be many... ands days... few..."
The most surprising t thing in Ultrakill would be to not meet any enemy at all. You already killed countless souls, and now there's no one left. Except for the unending abyss and void. Even pain and suffering is no more. It's just you, sliding through empty halls
i really love all the little body language things here, like the nod when you give the cerberus the skull, the mouse movements to the menu theme, and the double take when the hellavator disappears
Well actually 🤓 The line "But nobody came." is a reference from Undertale, luckily both games go deep. Also The Abyss is actually a Terraria Calamity biome, goodbye forever.
10-3 is where Jesus Prime should be. After P-ranking EVERYTHING. on the HARDEST difficulty, only then shall a door open below the crucified corpse of Jesus laying in the abyss. P-S THE MISSING LIGHT
Well it is kinda supposed to be empty. Maybe they should put an entity that is the incarnation of the abyss itself that stalks through the level, something wicked style.
The most successful machine in the game of survival. V1. Legions of souls have fallen against you. Now there are no more legions to fell for the strength to keep going. There is nothing. No bosses. No husks. No angels. Every last source of blood has been exhausted, however out of reach it may be. Each and every layer of Hell has been exhumed by you and your copatriots in the desperate bid for the slight chance of the end forgetting about you. And now there is no more fuel to take. Nothing remains. Shutdown in 10 minutes. Look for the savior. It will not come, for it does not exist. Going up will only take you to an empty place you’ve ripped apart searching for strength. Shutdown in 5 minutes. Goodbye, V1. Shutdown in 60 seconds. Goodbye, all.
You know, I was going to say if there's no boss than it's not good, but the fact that there's no ENEMIES makes it more creepy. If there's nothing to kill, than why have a big threat at the end?
it would be fucking sick if after the final level of the game V1 goes to heaven to kill, truely everything in existence at the end of 10-3, it could be like "you've done it, you have killed, everything... well, i suppose there is nothing left..... but to move higher then you have ever gone before, to heaven."
