The ACB Doubler's Alto Trombone is a little smaller than a tenor trombone, and it's pitched in Eb rather than Bb. That means every position sounds a fourth higher than you're used to on tenor. Typically more of an orchestral instrument (e.g. Mozart Requiem) but it can be really fun for jazz too! This is a good alto trombone for a student who wants to get started on alto trombone or for a collegiate trombone studio that doesn't have the budget for an Adams alto trombone.
