The Acolyte Episode 6 Review - Disney Star Wars Is So LAZY! 

Why did Sol not try to use communications when they arrived at the ship? Because the aliens on the surface might have had communication devices and he can't tell the Jedi about the Sith. The exact reason why the ship for no reason now doesn't work but begins working just in time for him to leave. How does Sol know the Sith has survived and has Osha? Are they even trying at this point? Why is the rescue team 4 Jedi when 7 Jedi have been killed? Maybe bring a bigger group with some muscle?

Also, speaking of time does no one want to talk about the time required for Evil Twin to undress unconscious Less Evil Twin, put on her clothes, cut her hair, get rid of the smell of burnt hair and partly re-dress Less Evil Twin?

The ironing scene and this swimming scene are completely unnecessary. Why is it the former personal assistant to Harvey is the one forcing actors to do uncomfortable scenes with nudity?

I really hate how they have Temple robes and "field" robes.

When jecki's body is shown, the wound that's furthest from the camera is in the wrong position. It should be lower. Remember, it looks like they form a triangle not a diagonal line.

I fondly remember the steering wheel on the Enterprise. The way Sulu dodged asteroids was sublime. I didn't like the way he used the clutch though. Gear changes were a bit rough.

The swimming question. The island is Maderia which is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and controlled by Portugal. If you have no life you can get the google maps stuff and find the area they filmed. From the big rock on the beach to the island the ship is CGI'ed onto seems to be about 170m. Also that rocky flat area the ship is parked seems to be low tide. The photos I found don't show it. SO... I don't think I could swim it, but if you were a competent swimmer it shouldn't be too hard. Maybe she can't swim? She grew up on Space Lesbian Planet in the mountains.

Previous episode:WAIT. She wakes up at the beginning and is knocked out at the end? Did this episode happen, or is it an illusion? All these characters may be alive.

@Raging Ryno I completely agree with you. I still don't know what I watched and with each episode I get more and more confused. Yup, II thought calling the planet as unknown revealed also a lack of creativity. There was unnecessary dialogue such as referring to nausea and hunger. As for the swimming scene, now we know why there was an intimacy coordinator . It was quite unnecessary with tones of seduction especially when Osha was looking at his naked body and how Darth Qimir asked her to join him ...this is NOT Star Wars. Also, making Darth Qimir in this episode less villain-like made him appear to be not as threatening. I got confused when he said he couldn't exactly read Oshas mind but then tells her what he knows of Yord and her feelings for Jeckie. Basil being a comic relief such as stomping on Mae's feet didn't work for me. I felt it was so silly, childish and annoying. Also, when Mae said she would rest Pip to factory settings is far too much a modern day usage, and it took me right out of the show. Like you said, using the words take the wheel and pupil is not Star Wars like. The light saber whip was meh and I thought that the moths are nocturnal and only attracted to light at night. The Jedi still don't act like Jedi as they should be more monk-like and have respect for one another. Sol is far too emotional to be a Jedi. And he didn't sense Mae in the first place, taking so long to figure it out since Mae didn't even really act like Osha via her mannerisms. The end scene of Mae breathing like Darth Vader was just ridiculous, dumb, stupid and cringy. The episodes are getting worse and worse.

Evil green Jedi would have crashed if Asian Jedi didn't leave exactly when he did.

So in that little scene, Osha is sneaking up on him, draws her knife which makes an audible sound, she continues to creep for an instant, and then Sol interrupts her by speaking to her. It means he knew she was there the whole time. At least that's what's intended to be conveyed. She then takes the wheel as he asked, and presumably pilots the ship. She has no look of shock or hesitation when Sol speaks to her. She was literally in the middle of sneaking up to kill him, and then just stops with no reaction whatsoever. Then she's like cool brah, I'll fly the ship, again, with no words or even emoting anything. Either the director simply could not get anything out of this terrible actress, or the director didn't ask for anything out of this actress. Sol is knocking it out of the park, so it means... it's the actress. Aside from the multitude of other problems, this actress is just awful.

That is that shitty planet where Jake Skywalker is in the TLJ, for sure. it looks like that

Green woman's assistant/ sidekick feels so out of place - it's like they mixed up the casting paperwork with a different show. He feels like a character from a 'quirky' sitcom that's set in like, the Centrelink offices or something. I'm guessing he's a personal friend of headland because otherwise how did he make the final cut? It really annoys me how haphazardly they placed the tactical screens on the set where Green woman first hears the news from Centrelink dweeb. There's just no thought whatsoever to what they are, how they are used, and therefore where they should be - it screams of slapping on a Star Wars veneer with just zero care. Yeah just chuck some of those glass panels with the circles on 'em, that'll make it Star Wars, yeah just like all over , anywhere. sTaR wArS saVEd mY lIfE - barf.

That's one of the things I hate the most about Disney's Star Wars... George Lucas always tried to make the world as different from Earth as he could. Disney doesn't care about it and just tries to imitate our culture instead... laaaame

Master Sol`s Jedi mind trick is just so good he got Mae to take the wheel without even looking at her. Oh, that`s just bad writing.

The show has no sense of of time, like they had treck in forest a good distance, and u want us to believe in the time sol and mae were walking back to the ship, he never sensed that this isn't the padawan he trained for years!? And other sister who he believes was dead for 16 years!!?? always wondered what he would say to her but the one he never taught!!?? The writing makes no sense, and sol mentioned they need to save osha , how does he know what happened to osha? But what ever, he leaves and never thinks to go back search for osha he just know darth kill kill jedi guy got her!😂 It was sooo bad , u have just turn ur brain completely off and not question anything then maybe u can enjoy this show! But it only works if the characters and story compells u to just go with it , sadly this show doesn't.

I try not to be a cancel person, but considering the disgusting, horrific crimes of Ms Leslye Headland, it's hard to imagine watching anything she was a part of.

FUnny how so many of us came to the exact same conclusions in that exact same scene. Just like back on the forest planet, there was ZERO reason for Mae to have let Sol live when she found him. He was half conscious. Then in this episode on the ship, she had every opportunity and inexplicably ignores it because ..."take the wheel" ????
