They were there for 7 weeks and not a single Jedi could sense a coven of dark force users nearby?

The poison from this Tree was made to hunt/fight some bigger animals acc. to Mae in Ep. 2. And these animals were not detected by the Jedi within the 7 weeks they searched. As well as they didn't notice this huge partly illuminated castle in the Mountains.

All the witches falling over was representative of the poor souls who had to watch this show.

You'd think with the millions they had on tap they would have made Brendok a fantastical and luxuriant planet where, you know, the Vergence has made nature flourish. But no, the location looks like some nondescript farm the series' location scouts found just an hour drive from their Hollywood studios. Brendok looks so Meh!

These "Jedi" should've been able to sense through the Force all of those Dark Side using witches!!! All throughout GL SW, Jedi and Sith alike have been able to sense a majority, if not all, of a planets' life-forms in the Force!!! WTF!!!

This episode was nothing more than a 40-minute recap of flashback episode three with very little new material that didn’t move the story forward and left off where the previous episode ended. As AZ would say, “MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!”😖

Jedi did absolutely nothing wrong. Also, don't you love that the Jedi can't use the force to sense the witches, but have to bring out metal detector thingies to find the Force Vergence. Lets see: 1) head witch attacks and tries to kill Mae with big puffy cloud. Sol draws his blade, doesn't seem to stab since he won't know the lightsaber can cut through the fog and kill. Probably never seen Force Fog witch power before. Either way, it is not intentional, and clearly Sol is defending Mae here. 2) Other mom attacks and is disarmed quickly. Boy, could've used that earlier 3) Rest of witches possess wookiee and then all try to kill the Jedi. Trinity de-possessing wookiee causes the rest to die hilariously. So....Trinity probably didn't know that would happen, and their lives were in danger. In short, the witches provoked and engaged first in all respects, and the Jedi using force was entirely in self-defense. Great writing! Jedi did nothing wrong.

They're literally trying to rip off the Qui Gon/Anakin relationship in TPM, b/c Qui Gon said he felt a strong, unexplainable connection to Anakin, and knew that it was the will of the Force he had to help him someway, somehow, and would go against the Council to do so.....

I feel like all of this was the set up to the most epic Star Wars joke of all time. The most expensive SNL skit of all time. From that angle, this is the best show ever. Every reaction video in this show feels like Mystery Science Theater 3000 and I miss that hilarity. I’m glad to get it here even if it’s not what they were aiming for.

Perspective is interesting i the way it can make the same thing look completely different. I was with you in thinking Sol's concern was groundless. I thought episode just made him come across as emotional unstable and incompetent. I thought that if it were better written, it could have either put a positive spin on it by implying that Sol's connection to the Force gave him a heightened instinct for protecting children or could have put a negative spin on it by implying that Sol has an unhealthily exaggerated paternal drive because the Jedi's "no attachments" rule has stifled his "natural desire" to have a family and raise children, but instead, the way he's presented just come across as weird, irrational and creepy (one RU-vidr said he expected the episode to show "Sol driving away in his candy filled van). However, just before watching you review, I saw another review that said that Sol seeing Koril getting so furious with the girl when she fund them outside and seeing Anisaye knock them down with the Force (every review I've seen of episode 3 criticized Anisaye for throwing the children within inches of cracking their heads on the stairs when she was teaching them about the thread), he would naturally be concerned that the twin might be being abused. I wasn't totally convinced by that argument, but it did make me reconsider how I perceived Sol's concern for the girls' safety. Either way, the writing presented the character development and the plot point very poorly.

This episode broke me! I thought I was in the Looney bin... Clone Wars and Bad Batch are better in terms of writing... Don't get me wrong, Dave is a massive pain in the ass.

My theory turned out wrong, but this is worse. So some of the witches were killed by the explosion mae caused, sol killed aniseya and the rest were powering up koril. When indara cut the connection she somehow(lol) killed koril and the rest. They wanted the cake and eat it too, so ridiculously contrived. Why didn't aniseya tell sol what she was going to do? She knows both Jedi are in high alert and they don't know what she is capable of. Either way, they still attacked torbin first while they were talking early on.

But you missed the ending song. The lyrics explain everything!…or something, or maybe nothing.

If it's Sol's re-telling of events, why do we see Torbin's mind possession scene played out as only Torbin could have seen it? Plenty of other point of view breaking moments like that. It's basic story telling rules they're breaking. Don't change the narrative voice without proper set up.

The Wookie in this show kinda looked like Baloo from "Talespin" (another show that feels more like Star Wars compared to this Leslyo trash). The difference, however, is that Baloo is more qualified to be a Jedi compared to that Wookie, as well as the rest of these fools.

They could literally have written the Jedi of this era as the heroes THEY wanted them to be in THEIR vision of a golden utopia, so that what we see in the prequels and original trilogy would be the bastardisation and corruption that leads to the collapse of the Jedi Order. That's what I expected them to do, and was all for it, but they aren't wired to even think that way so there was never any chance of success for this show, or others like it.

@Raging Ryno Ryno, this show is insulting my intelligence and you really can't suspend your disbelief. Again, every episode confuses me with such abysmal writing and I have so many questions. This convoluted episode should have been episode 3, a longer version. This episode tells me that deleted scenes were just recently added and obviously there wasn't enough material for the show. The show looks unfinished and rushed. The one thing I didn't mind watching was the Kelnacca fight scene, even though it was so absurd. Aren't wookies known for ripping off limbs? Indara acted like a superhero woman, easily taking down Kelnacca and performing a Vulcan mind meld to expunge the dark spirit/demon which somehow led to the witches death. I don't know whether breaking the demon/ spirit mind meld or Indara's strong force abilities killed the witches. The Jedi again didn't act like the zen like Jedi they are purported to be. Again, we are seeing women Jedi being the stoic, powerful ones emasculating the male jedi. Indara fighting with Sol was so out of place for Star Wars. Sadly, Carrie Anne's performance was so terrible and wooden. Are these Jedi scientists? Why are they taking plant samples to find evidence of the vergence? And do Jedi now trespass? And Sol's creepy strong connection to Osha is a rip off of Qui Gon and Anakin in the Phantom menace. And how Mae acted angry with her forced stomping walk was so forced . Why didn't Sol use the force to save the twins? Why not use the blood test as evidence of the vergence.I could go on and on as there is so much wrong with this episode, again not making sense. This show is preposterous.

They actually can't call the council on Coruscant since it's at LEAST one light year away (more like tens of thousands, but one will do). So, it takes a YEAR at the VERY least for them to get your message and another year to get a reply. A throwaway line like "We can use the HyperRadio to contact Coruscant" could cover the issue, but they're too lazy, stupid, or BOTH to write a show in the "Star Wars" UNIVERSE!!!
