I think it’s cute that she thought she could make a better fight scene than duel or fates. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to try to recreate the movie fights with my friends.

Star War fight between Ben and the Big V is probably the best of the entire series. No piss farting around with flashy rubbish. Tightly cut to hide the fact that neither knew how to fight properly, that David had limited vision and probably couldn't raise his arms in the suit. Only one spin. Spinning when fighting with a sword is utterly retarded and is 100% theatrical. You get some blade positioning games where Ben keeps dipping under Big V's blade. I guess Big V has a strong bind game and Ben didn't want to get involved. Would have liked to see a few thrust attacks but the film is cut that it looks like they have a couple of passes where they are really fighting for advantage before breaking apart again. You also get lines of dialogue which despite being limited really do give good hints to the past relationship between Ben and Big V. The BIG take away from the fight in Star Wars is that it doesn't dominate the movie. Back in 77 the Jedi and sabres were this slightly magical thing no one really believed in anymore and the main movie was Flash Gordon meets Dambusters remake using the Hero's Journey story structure. These days what is called Star Wars is simply a series of linking scenes before the next sabre fight until we reached Peak Sabre during ArseSoaker when they had Mrs ArseSoaker do a sabre fight during a space battle. By Disney Star Wars standards it was good with crappy characters. But high tier Hollywood no not at all.

It's propaganda. If she says it, it's put out on the internet where it remains forever. The director has declared that this show has something historic to see, besting the most iconic fight scenes in history. People will see this quote, remember they saw it, and hopefully watch the show to see this supposedly epic scene. Yes she's absolutely a delusional narcissist, but this is a desperation move to boost the show's views in order to reel in her second season. Not gonna happen.

How Acolyte is bad that is explaining very well. Everything is so bad but a little bit a fight scene looks like a master piece. No Leslie the fight scenes looks good because the whole show is garbage. You think the fight scenes is good, overall it's not support main story.

Leslye might have topped herself, whatever work she did before, but saying that Qimir & Sol's fight beats the duel of fates and as well as some of the best fights scenes from Hollywood: she is clearly delusional and masturbating her own ego. It shows how subpar as a director she is and why the Star War franchise is like a dumpster fire. For me, only Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are the only hopes we have as fans.
