Beautiful video, even in spite of the scaffolding. The Parthenon and the other monuments are exquisite for all time! I am blessed that not only there was no scaffolding when I visited it, but I was able to get a photo of me sitting on the steps of the Parthenon undisturbed by no one (there were no tourists around, I had it all to myself). It's just me sitting smack in the middle by the steps. An awesome photo that I so treasure. Beautiful Athens, beautiful Greece, and beautiful video. Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories!
I'd heard that there were 80 steps to get up to the Acropolis, but I'd assumed that it was one big stair case, so to speak. Spreading them out, with ramps in between, would make it easier. My wife and I have old, worn knees and I was concerned about the climb. May not be as bad as I thought.

I went there in early spring (mid March) when I was younger. I was too young to really appreciate it but it war far superior to what you see on this video. The weather was nice and cool, it was maybe around 15 degrees C, about 60 F and far less crowded. I do not recommend Athens in the summer. The heat looks absolutely scorching.
