Dam Ducks, you 100% correct. Day 1 you can get it after like 5-10 heist contracts on base type which ez to colour you need with ez colouring you like. Craft with any essence, and take 15% life from mastery. Corruptrd fusings actually the best in scenario when you snipe amazing unique with +2 gems corruption. But its already about next step. So regular rare + essence is cheep as hell.

As an alternative to essence (or somethign to pair with it), you can invest into Harvest. Get everything on the altas except crop rotation (and the other nodes in that wheel) unless you know what you're doing. Then just do the sacred grove in all of your maps and sell the lifeforce that drops via Currency Exchange. Easy peasy. These are always in high demand and will sell well all league. If you do it for a while you can look into using scarabs to increase your profit. Another tip, whenever possible, buy the 20 chisels from Kirac for 8c. You want to have quality on your maps whenever possible. If you're still poor, sell half the stack you just purchased to other players on the Currency Exchange. 10 chisels sell for 8 c. So that's basically 10 free chisels.

Thank you for the tip on the Atlas thing I had no idea about that node. I personally only play ssf so always looking for tips on how to get those 6 links and everything else. Slowly crawling my way up. Finally got around to doing red maps today. I honestly have no idea how to "play" the game. I just follow build guides and try do what they say but I have no idea how they gear up unless they write it down.

I farmed my first 100c this league very quickly by just spamming the chaos recipe. White maps are great for armour/weapons, heist is great for jewelry. Essences are great but I've actually grown fond of hoarding them to easily get new builds up and running.

The most important advice for newbies is: don't try to link it with orbs of fusing. I remember when I was new and tried to link a tidebreaker and spent like 6k fusings without success. You're almost always better off buying the 6link.

My guess would be there's a good bit of casual players that also want to find their own gear to some extent

Thank you. Sometimes it does feel like content creators assume everyone is an ultra mega McDaddy that can make 3 divines per hour day 1. For once, it's refreshing when someone doesn't tell you the equivalent of "farm Mageblood by sustaining a steady flow of Stacked Decks."

This will sound crazy but a lot of players do not use trade, even though POE is centered around trade.

Legion nodes aren't useful for those that aren't focusing on fast clear speed though. For slower builds I'd say taking harvest nodes would be a better option.

I'd say the one exception is if you need a 6L on a specific unique

This is very true unless your build requires a unique chest armour. 6-link unique chests are usually more expensive, potentially enough that it’s cheaper to buy a non-six-linked one and use those other streamers’ techniques to six-link it.

The 1.5k fusings bench craft is honestly a robbery. 6 links drop so often nowadays that it absolutely doesn't warrant the cost and I feel like ggg should stop gatekeeping it so much because it essentially only affects ssf people who don't have a choice but to roll with whatever you get off the ground and meanwhile if you play trade as you shown on the video you can literally get a 6 link for 5c. The game pretty much expects you to get a 6 link when you hit maps anyway so I don't see a point in putting these artificial grind walls

If there is any new players struggling to make first moneys, go to town, right click a rogue marker, this takes you to the rogue harbor (home for the heist), look for guides to running contracts if you need, but look for any contract with demolition or brute force. Run it, and look for either red square icon (uniques) or question marks. Uniques vendor for more if they turn out wortheless in trade, if they roll well you can get some chaos from them. Question marks drop plain raw chaos quite often, that's why you prioritize them. This is how I make my first chaos im league start. When you are done with heisting and need to find the next thing to do, explore what all content there is in the game, and find out what you enjoy. When you find a content that you enjoy, look for guides how to reap profit out from it. Don't go for guides that tell you that this is the newest best currency/hour strategy. Usually the case is that this WAS the best strategy, but now since video is out, everyone is going for this one and the profit just stops existing. So, find out what you enjoy, then look for guides to it. Don't discard videos from past leagues either, that info is still largely valid.

I play SSF and I go for the enchanted arms Blueprint early league. There is a very good chance to get a chest with an explicit that says All Sockets Linked so you just have to six socket the item and you are set.

Fucking love this video , the amount of people who dont realize you can just trade for most things is insane. i built the splitting steel guy and bought fractured bases and crafted all my own gear because a t 2 fractured spell suppression base is still very cheap .

100%. With chaos recipe in the game, this would take you a couple map runs to get a 6link from trade with the sockets you need.

Reading these comments are crazy. People will literally complain about anything. Obviously if you're SSF this isn't for you, or if you're looking for off colored bis chests either.

Expedition with good atlas nodes are perhaps the easiest way to earn currency. Literally focus on Danning and Tujen, skip every difficulty altar except one of the following: Currency Stacked Deck Quantity/rarity More artifacts/reroll currency Then just kill the stuff, open the chests. The beauty of expedition monsters is that, their rares are not that strong compared to a juiced map rare. A good portion of their defence is scaled by Ward, which breaks off by any single hit. So you literally start the fight with your movement or curse or just default attack, then spam your skills, to kill mobs. Then go to tujen, buy literally everything you can with haggling, Use Danning's currency stock if you ran out, Rinse and repeat. It is pretty deterministic. Most importantly, you don't need to sell or keep track of essences. Also any content that scales from mob density such as delirium or beyond will also benefit from extra monsters. Oh, reroll currencies of Danning and Tujen fetch some real money.

This is basically the POE version of "If you're homeless, buy a house." :P But in generally, yes its quicker, but when you are looking for common colour combinations, it gets quite pricey. 50c for bad mods 6r armour :/ I did it this way as well, took about 3 or 4 days. Can get it quicker if you just go expedition and buy chaos from Tujen.

If your playing in trade league, actually trade, sell stuff for currency and buy stuff with currency. Take advantage of this capability. With a bit of time and currency you can buy your way out of alot of problems and hurdles in trade. the fun in trade is to get things going faster, by off loading stuff you dont need or want to other and buying what you need and want from others. if in ssf, you're on your own, have fun and get to have fun solving the problems and overcoming hurdles in other ways.

That what I did when I was playing in trade league. But when I switched to SSF, I felt like a noob that never really understand the game even after 7 years of farming currencies for trade.

The market suggestion has merit... except... if it's a useful six link you'll go broke trying to get it - *_OR_* - you'll just be shouting into the void. And you can't - apparently - put the crucible tree from an axe on a sword. In fact, it has to be the same TYPE of axe (or whatever type).

Before watching, I thought it's a click bait title :P But you are 100% on the money. On the second day of the league, I bought a corrupted 6 links with 20c and reached red maps with it.

Pretty crucial basic information for anyone getting into mapping: Getting a 6-Link is a very important step. It's easy as searching on official trade webpage. There is a reason why Tabby is a sought after item from early game. But getting a 6-Link UNIQUE item that you want (Shavronne's) or a really good base (especially for an attacker) is a completely different story. It seems like one additional step players need to go through in order to get the 6-Link for whatever the item they need. For example, I plan to make my Lightning Coil 6-link and 6-linked UNIQUE chest is a multistep process. Fortunately, I'm doing a bow build and I already have a 6-Link Harbinger Bow (could have done Thicket but I need crits atm), the bow is doing its job and I made it. I dunno about casters though so there is yet another constraint that I'd like to highlight. Overall, pretty helpful video for newcomer exiles. It's just there is a lot more to factor in when it comes to 6-linking.

The other vids are valuable for those playing SSF or a private league, but for everybody else, this is 100% the way

I spent like 2 divs trying to link a Lightning Coil hoping it would be cheaper if I did it myself. I threw it out and bought one for 1 div with the colors I needed. 6 links are the cheapest they've never been.

The reason why trade is never mentioned in these "how to get X" videos is: "Just buy it bro" doesn't make 10 minute videos :D

If you're playing Trade league and aren't trying to challenge yourself or do some pseudo-SSF playthrough, there's no reason to not avail yourself of the market which will often times provide you with things much easier than you can farm them for very reasonable costs. Always check trade site first.

You can literally do 5 demolition/lockpicking contracts anywhere in between lvl 57 and 67 and you can buy one. This works every single league start without need for atlas completion

blew 6 tainted fusings earlier trying to 6 link something using a tip from a video I watched, it ended horribly and realistically I could've just easily have sold them and had more than enough to buy the armor, never doing that again.

Yes, I always buy my six link on the site. I mean, you can finish the game without a six link ang by the time I finish the game six links are already 5 chaos or less.

Sounds easy, but at least for me in affiction league, it has been really difficult to get anything valuable. It means I can play 10 maps without getting any chaos or much more valuable. I get nothing from strongboxes, breaches, explorations or normal maps even if I make them rare and run Viridian Vildwood before aeach map. I have almost 60 map bonuses cleared and propably 200 maps run and I have only 7C after spending 35 for cluster jewel. I have some oils from blight encounters, which seem to have value around 5-10C per each. That's where most of my wealth has come. Next best source have been Kirac missions. I'm relatively new player and obviously my playstyle have given me some penalties, but don't know what it can be. I entered to maps at level 63, but levels go up much faster than my wealth and gear. I'm now at level 88. I had another character at level 90 when anchesters league ended. I had a currency problem with that one too, but got about 5x more by average. I got 6-link armor and bow from drop. Otherwise I'd be screwed.

I actually bought some corrupted 6L that matched my sockets for cheap while leveling, but then again, when I actually buy the real deal upgrade, I'll probably have to socket it somehow, and this advice will not fly then, unless you actually find that upgrade 6L on the market, and you're willing to pay the extra.

Nodoby talk about obvious things, because it's obvious. Some people play SSF and even if you don't play SSF knowing all the tips and tricks is always good knowledge.

The reason why people are looking up those video's want to know for unique's as unique's for 6l's are easily 2.5 Div's or higher, some are 4-6 div min, so knowing the easiest and most cost efficient way is what people are looking for. As for making currency, not everyone like to essence strat, or their build requires unique 6L to be effective, it's also one of those things that newer players fall into where they just buy gear that has bis stats for cheap thinking they'll just 6L it super fast and easy but don't have the 1.5K fusings.

Any tips for Uniques? Daresso's Defiance - 1c; 6 link Daresso's Defiance - 2 div I've spent about 500 fusings on it, but no luck so far...

Totally agree, but I think some streamers are like SSF so trade isn't an option.

I do find it kinda funny that fusings are literally worst and probably most annoying way to make six links.

It’s even easier than what you showed. You can easily have enough currency for a 6 link before getting to maps. It’s called heist. Once you get contracts dropping (act 6 I believe) you’ll have enough of them when you finish act 10 to get more than enough raw currency to buy a six link. You can easily get 10-20 raw chaos orbs from low level heists to buy a six link to start mapping.

A thought occurs, can you trade if you haven't purchased a tab? i heard there was, but it was super complex or something (haven't checked recently). So far, besides currency dropping, i've just been trading full unidentified rare sets for 2 chaios at a time...

I think those videos are more for SSF players. Personally, I figured most people already know that just buying a 6 link is the most efficient way
