I met Shane in the bar after one of his gigs and went to speak to him. Nice guy. Takes photos with fans etc. Within 30 seconds of speaking to him he steered the conversation towards football.

This is such a dumb comment to make on an ep where Nick obviously feels left out due to Adam repeatedly discussing one of his interests- that Nick doesn't share- with the guest. Honestly Stav fits this description a lot more, his personality consisted of liking food and riding Nick the entire show. Adam's biggest problem is that he isn't that confident or funny, so it's easy for people to "roast" him i.e. project every negative trait onto him hardcore, and then the audience piles on because they desperately want to believe that they're more like Nick than Adam, when the exact opposite is true for 99% of the listeners.

Reverse soccer karate was one of the funniest jokes ever it's so true. It's the best description of boxing ever.
