It would actually be hilarious if Nick really got a part time job at a GameStop as a bit. Not kidding. I don’t mean to insult them, but your “fans” are too… not the type that are going to get off their ass and hunt down where to find you. I mean that in the sense that they’re all um, cool, busy, grindin guys and girls too, and don’t have the time. There will probably be like three or four who do come find you and occasionally one will drift into the store by accident and flip out, but you could use the ol’ “aw, that’s real nice of you, surely appreciate it, but I’m on my shift right now and Mr. Johnson really likes to ride my ass, so… can’t really chat”. Every now and again one of them might be cool enough for you to actually want to communicate for a bit, in which case you’ll have a micro dose of reaffirmation in the realization that your work has reached more than friendless dweebs playing video games all day in their moms’ basement/Brooklyn.
