Helen Schucman was primarily a brilliant Freudian psychologist who was secretly, but deeply moved by, the miracles of Lourdes, Catholic ritual and Baptist fervor. (More about Helen and Bill in Wapnick's biography called Absence From Felicity) ACIM practice is mostly just to read it carefully and let it transform your experience of life.
The old Buddhist in me is jumping up and down going, "Me too!". Only that which is 'empty' of real and without true existence can change as it is illusory. Reality is changeless because that is the nature of being true.

It was a wonderful session!!! Very helpful!! I always say..."Number of times over equal certainty." It works for me. That noted, I want to share that I see ACIM as being a can of beans where the look and shape of the can sometimes varies but the beans themselves remain consistent. I see Ken, Keith, David, Marianne, Stefan, Paul, Aaron, Bill, Leisa, James, Vicki and on and on as all being incredibly talented chefs that remove the beans from the can and present them in ways peculiar to them. Each chef demonstrates their preferences by what beans they like to focus their attention on. And each chef has their own batch of herbs & spices that they add to the beans in the form of analogies, metaphors, allegories and similes. I really enjoy going from chef to chef and having a heaping helping of their version of the ACIM beans! This was a most fabulous plate of beans Keith!!! Thank you.

I saw your Easter broadcast and I went into a tailspin. I did not perceive love in it. I love Jesus and yes he is the Jesus of the Bible, I have been through the course,text, exercises teachers . I have had to read it do exercises again to keep going. I struggle with it wrestle with it accept it. I have accepted Jesus. He is in me and I in Him. Jesus is the same Jesus of the Bible. I am Christian unashamed. We have to believe sometimes that we do hear the voice of Holy Spirit. Please don't tell me Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible. Set that aside and know we are loved.

Only ever take what's useful to you from what someone else says and discard the rest. Our experiences and understandings will change many times as we climb the ladder. If something makes you uncomfortable, it's not for you right now. It's your inner teacher you want to get in touch with. Outer teachers are only for helping you get in touch your inner teacher.
The "new" aspect of this video for seemingly separeted myself is, that everything, what´s "non-happening" in the movie, is happening in One seemingly fragmented Son. And all the "feelings and thoughts" that I have about, are the parts of this sin, guilt fear film, which I can hardy bear to witness. But to withess it with HS, is the only way out/in His peace?
Not sure Keith will see ( much less respond ) to a video posted over eight months ago as of this comment…but my question or rather observation of ACIM is that it is one of uncompromising non duality. I can see this in almost every sentence and paragraph. I recently watched a video featuring four “ teachers” of ACIM who categorically deny this. They go on to denigrate Ken Wapnick saying he edited out several chapters and essentially changed the meaning of ACIM to one of non duality. Then they warn their viewers never to listen to him. I find this incredulous as a long time student of non dual teachings and am interested in anybody else’s thoughts on this. ( although it’s most certainly the ego asking…Lol! These teachers also say the world of people is real, that we can manifest prosperity, and the whole gambit of new age teaching. Absolutely blows my mind they could get anything like that from a Course that repeatedly points to the opposite and who’s core teaching is that there is no physical universe at all!
I shut it off when he said nothing here has meaning. 😢 I’m sorry but it’s EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE. I didn’t get that at all from studying the course. I even went to a study group for a long time and this was never ever ever the focus or interpretation. The universe is the best book there is. Nothing channeled into human writing can surpass that. TCIM HELPS you see the larger picture in everything! I recommend the guy 10 minutes in saying that crazy stuff read “The Textbook of the Universe: The Genetic Ascent to God” from 2003. Was the Best, actually the only book, I ever read which allowed me to see the natural universe as actual writing. To see it symbolically. Anyway, just a suggestion 😊❤👍🏻 I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Course in Miracles and all the people. Which is why I’m trying to help. Thanks so much. ❤

@@acimwithkeith Yes, but in a sense this is true, but I interpreted it differently. Thank you 😊 For example, I interpreted it as meaning that what you think is important in your life as a person now who needs things is not important. Sorta like meditation helps you let go of things you worry about to focus on higher things. To let go of fake meanings that are actually instrumental information and background “media” for the real meaning of higher things. 🤷♀️

is there a reason that very few acim teachers mention David Hoffmeister, but always Kenneth Wapnick? Just curious. Is he teaching the course from an entirely different perspective?
Ken was the first teacher of the Course and his vast body of work is seminal. So it's not surprising that he is referenced so often. It doesn't take from anyone else's work.
Yes, there's different versions. I always read from the official Foundation For Inner Peace version. However, I think you'll find that quote (There is no world) in paragraph 6 of all versions.

I had an experience before coming across acim and I don’t have anyone to talk to about it, I think it was what the book calls a revelation, but coming from a Jehova’s witness background the elders would say it was the devil, and I know for a fact a love that immense could not have been from anyone but Jesus or God himself.
From ACIM view, how do we avoid this reincarnation dream upon our death? …Why can’t we remember agreeing to the dream of the wrong minded world again, so we do not make this error again upon our death?
We will misidentify as a body as long as guilt remains in our mind. Because of projection, that guilt is shining in everyone else in the world and not in us. So we must learn to look on the world without any judgement of it ever. It is what is. It has no effect on my Peace because that comes from the Holy Spirit. Nothing can take it from me and I do not need it from the world or anyone in it being a certain way. We must look on a forgiven world. The Course calls this the Real World. It is experiencing this world with no projection of guilt onto it. We experience in everything only the Love we are extending to it. Our forgiveness lessons are gradually undoing our guilt.
