For my Best of 2023 and the most exciting: Vogue, Harrods, Space NK, YesStyle & P Louise. I really wanted PLT and the Tilbury to be good this year....just didn't happen though!
I like the Lancome Calendar from single brands and Bobbi Brown and Indy Beauty(Swedish brand), I liked Indy Beauty bcz they have different boxes for different skincare and finally L'oreal. For multi-brand calendar: I Loved: - SpaceNk . CultBeauty - Zalando (Really worth the price! It included AB cream and the whole calendar was less expensive than that. ) - Skincity -Glossybox - SweetCare (you may check it. I got some new brands from this calendar) - MEDs The most disappointing, I must say, was Charlotte Tilbury, along with Clinique. They only updated four products from last year's range. Following closely behind was Clarins, which included only two full-size items and focused predominantly on body care with very little skincare.

I’m US based and the UK really knows how to do beauty! Such great calendars coming out of the UK. I got the Liberty London AC and I’m very happy with it. Love the mix of products, the new-to-me brands, and the surprise each day. And it’s a beautiful design!
What you get in the UK is a heck of a lot better than what we get here in the US. I am glad that I had two calendars sent over from the UK, SpaceNK and PLouise. The top three US calendars that I did were Sabon, Trader Joe’s, and FortuneCookieSoap. I did a total of 12 calendars and two after advent calendars. Happy new year.🎉
I'm glad you'll be getting the full Dior lipsticks in exchange for the broken minis ! I though the expensive Rituals would have been your top one for the most christmasy, I'd pick that one for the categorie ☺ For the worst values, I'll go with US calendars, I've seen quite a few that were basically just free samples and sold at higher prices than they should be. You've got a better selection in the UK, watching your unboxings was more of a treat !
I LOVED your Advent series! So happy to have found you Karen! Such a hard working young woman❤! I had to lol when you said spoolies, sharpeners, sponges...literally every Sephora, Macy's, and Ulta calendar in the US 😂! You would think these stores would up their game like your Harvey Nics, Boots, Selfridges...
SpaceNK was the winner for me. If I was able to get my hands on it, I absolutely would have grabbed the M&S calendar. I can hit the minimum spend in there without even trying... bras and knickers! Their Christmas cards are always beautiful too. I'd have 100% grabbed one. Boots + Sephora UK also. I'd have grabbed both of those too. Not that I don't already have enough. haha I just love an incredible bargain!
I decided in the end not to buy an advent calendar i usually buy Rituals & Bodyshop. But i just didn’t like the products they choose , so i just bought my self some apart product . Great valuation. karen 😊 . Wishing you a very Merry Christmas & All the very Best for 2024 🎉🍾🥂

Fab video Karen! Throughly enjoyed watching all your vlogs. Thank you! I agree with you on most categories. I found fortnum and mason boring and John Lewis. Charlotte Tilbury the worst. I loved the Harvey Nichols one because I love trying new different fragrances but they said full sizes when actually they were travel sizes really 😂
Space NK was my favorite as well. Plouise is Gorgeous and I incorporated it into my lighted house decorations! It’s perfect! I avoided the cheapy calendars so I’m really pleased with everything I got. I loved the Elemis box and Look Fantastic and Harrods was good too… oh! Stylevana. After due consideration I chose only one calendar - SpaceNK. Last year I opted for Harrods. I’m not disappointed with either choice. Your videos helped me in my choices. Thank you
I am surprised that the elemis post office design didn't make #9! That was the only calendar I purchased but loved the packaging and contents. I watched all the calendar unboxings. My fave calendar is the mac one after watching your mac advent calendar unboxing I got myself the mac advent calendar and I'm glad I did so many full sized products alot of great shades and amazing products 😊

Thanks for unboxing so many calendars and giving your honest opinions, it makes everyone’s advent shopping so much easier. My picks - most exciting probably was Vogue, so nice to have some nice jewellery and not filler items. Also the Harrods fragrance calendar would have been exciting too. I agree most boring was PLT, with Body Shop a runner up for not bothering to have a different calendar. Best was Space NK, but if Harvey Nichols and Sephora were available for me, I might have picked them.Also a shout out to Soap and Glory - very affordable with good sizes but decided not to ship ex UK. I just wish more would ship internationally!
This is my first year buying advent calendars. Ive become obsessed after watching your channel! Instead of the 1, I'd decided to get (Charlotte Tilbury), i then treated myself to the LookFantastic one following your review. Then i bought the Temple Spa one - hopefully youll review it next year??! Then M&S and 2 Clarins ones as gifts. After a lot of research, I decided to buy my first beauty advent calendar this year. Unfortunately my 1st choice (Space NK) had sold out so purchased the cult beauty one which was a close 2nd. Overall I’m incredibly happy with it ☺️. I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and New Year 🎉

I think the Harvey Nichols one was slept on tbh... I liked it more than the selfridges one but omg!! space nk was just sooo good. I am new to beauty products so it was amaaaazing to try all the hype stuff
Really enjoyed this video but can i make a suggestion that when you mention the calendar that a picture of it comes on screen. Finding it hard to remember what they look like and at times had to pause the video and do an internet search. I don't have a worse calendar because this year I was more selective having learnt from last year my worse last year was Revolution. I think this year the best for me was Vogue. Dior is beautiful but overpriced since most of the products are given as samples. Happy Christmas! and thanks for all the videos.
There is a lot of work behind these figures and categories, for that, I say: impressive! My only suggestion: more visuals would be appreciated and helpful: to show the image of the calendar as you were categorizing them; from my perspective, no matter how much I like you or not, is too much info and the same tone of voice what made it dense and boring.
