The year is 3045. Humanity is extinct. Its monuments dust, its buildings rubble. Along with consciousness and language, the concept of a "room" has ceased to exist; Coury once again delays his room tour

Great stream! Loved this game as a kid, found the difficulty pretty brutal but the art style, music and writing reflect the show perfectly

I grew up on on a farm where my family was a licensed animal rescue shelter. A dog living 12-14 years really isn't that good. On average, even the Big dogs we took care of, almost all made it into their early 20's (or around that). Right now most my dogs are 14+ and still very lively and youthful. My oldest dog is substantially older than the others, a wiener dog/Dachshund named Bella, who is currently (correction*) 24 years old [born may 2nd 2000].... though I suspect she may not live another year, as she is stiff walking, has a mild amount of dementia, and I believe has had a slow growing cancerous knot on her muzzle for the last two years. The trick to a dog having a long and healthy life is actually contrary to most advice: dogs live longest when only fed once a day, allowed to remain fairly thin, and when NOT fed human food or scraps. A fat, spoiled, and frequently fed dog who enjoys premium canned dog foods (and/or human food) - will no doubt be a happier dog... but the trade-off that will be a dog which dies much younger than a deprived one, and usually from a more painful disease. I guess everything in life is a tradeoff. In my life, my family has probably raised 300+ dogs (again, we ran a licensed shelter and rescue) - and on average they passed at very old ages from cancers that occur from longevity. It has been studied that in animals and humans, eating less frequently and more lower calorie diets with less 'sugars and trans fats' is shown to reliably slow age related cancers and cellular aging in people (there for they live longer and healthier on average). In my experience the western diet, and that which western people (especially in affluent households) generally afford their pets is the leading cause why their beloved canines often barely see a decade. The same is said of cats, for which I currently have three who are all in their twenties atm. Like our dogs, none of them are fed human food, none fed expensive 'healthy' 'vet-recommended' cat food, and none fed more than once a day. Most of that is a scam, because animals evolved (even your domesticated ones) in a world of scarcity, and their bodies were never meant to be nourished so frequently. Most "healthy" food for humans is not so for dogs or cats, and their bodies were never meant to process sugars or calorie rich meals loaded with vitamins. Unlike humans, your average cat or dog was never meant to to pack on weight - and as a result, even a few extra pounds (which might be visually harmless) can result in years off their life, and (early cataracts and) joint problems down the road. The life of my cats has been one of scarcity throughout the day (one meal in the morning) and very bland diets since they where kittens (we fed them alot more when they were still growing ofcourse), and while they act like they are starving all the time - it would not have been reasonable to feed so many shelter animals like most Americans do their single pet. My cats started out that way, and I eventually adopted them when I moved out from my parents. I kept the diet that had been so successful with so many countless creatures, and now in their twenties they are extremely healthy, lean, spry in their age... and still in heat every spring. Like people in Okinawa and the Mediterranean - their pets in those places tend to live longest of anywhere on the planet. Activity, eating once a day, calorie restriction, and keeping portions down is the key to your pooch living too see their 20s. If your feeding them two or three times a day and giving them snicker bars (chocolate is also a 'no no'), then 10 or 12 years is probably pushing it before they pass of something preventable, and with arthritis or autoimmune related disease.
