So as you may know I have purple hair! However. the dye was starting to fade and I wasn't able to get an appointment before I left for college, sooooo I attempted to dye it myself. Here's a tutorial/vlog as to how it went! If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions leave them below!

Thanks!! Im dying my hair this color and its nice to see a video on it Btw i have kinda dark brown hair do you think i should bleach it??

Sorry for the late reply, but I think yes! My hair was previously bleached and dyed at the salon and I had used this to touch it up after it faded, that's why I didn't bleach mine in the video. Personal tip: If you do end up dying/bleaching your hair I would try not going all the way to the roots, that way you still have some natural hair and you don't have to do constant root touch ups!

So glad I seen this video I just bought the dye and I'm blonde so I was curious if I had to use the bleach first and I didn't see you use bleach so I'm not going to.

No only if your hair is darker than light brown you should bleach your hair

I got splat dye today, and I wanted lavender on my ends because thats my fav color, but I ended up getting the wrong color and now my hair looks redish pink. I still like how mine came out, but next time I go to the store I’m gonna get this color that you used.
