Thank you so much for the invitation to appear on your documentary. This is a fantastic piece from you Olly - you should be so proud of it! Up the Cherries! x
What an emotional documentary that will touch peoples hearts. So many memories. If only my beloved auntie and uncle were alive who were there in the sixties supporting the cherries till their passing, to think they are now Premier League I doubt they would believe me.
Great stuff Olly, and loved this documentary for who supported the Cherries since Richard Cooke’s debut in 11/1986 - 75p entry at Half Time to the South End against Carlisle in a 2-1 win! Proud of the club in making strides since and great to have all those incredible memories flooding back through this great documentary! Superb mate👏
Thank you for the comment! Great season to start watching the club that 86/87 season, and so many great moments since - here's to many more in the future! Appreciate your kind words. ❤️🍒
This is an absolute triumph. It captures the emotions of the rollercoaster that has been the past twenty years perfectly. Brilliantly shot, storyboarded and edited. A really outstanding piece of work which I hope sees you go on to greater things.
This comment means a lot, Thank you mate. It was a challenging production but very grateful for everyone that gave their time and support to make it happen. Really appreciate your kind words. 🍒❤️
This was absolutely excellent. As someone else said, very emotional. As someone who found Bournemouth when they joined the PL the first time around, I always love learning more about the history. Thank you for all the time you put in to this.
Amazing documentary as an American who became a supporter in 2009 supporting this team has changed my life and many people over here cannot understand. This documentary helps me show people why.
I thoroughly enjoyed this brilliant documentary. What a bright future we've got to look forward to. I've been a fan for 67 years and can't believe where we are and where we are going.
Remember queing up at the South end when I was 13 years old now 66 2 best ever games villa at home 3-0 to the cherries and Margare 11-0 with Ted scoring 9 goals and it rain heavily that day
I just returned to the UK and my hometown of Bournemouth after 25 years living abroad to see family. One of the stops I simply had to make was to King's Park and the stadium to buy something, anything to remember my time as a kid growing up in Bournemouth and the club. It was extremely moving for me and I think the guys working the club shop thought I was a bit of a nutter!
My elder sister lived in Bournemouth, her husband took me to Dean Court a few times in the early 1980s. I don't remember too much about it, I think Bournemouth had a keeper called Kenny Allen? Loved the town and the locals, this video bought back a lot of good memories. Thank you. 😊👍
Great work! Having been a supporter since 1976, this has bought back so many fond memories and some of my heroes. what a fantastic football club. UTCIAD!!!!!
Well done Olly - it is such a positive documentary. It is not just football, you showed that football touches people's emotions in so many ways. From Cape Town South Africa
That was absolutely brilliant. Fair play to you. 95% of that time line happened whilst I've supported the club so definitely opened some wounds remembering it 🤣 Hopefully Bill has a quality plan so your next one in the future can be about the "tinpot' Europa league winners or something 😜🤣🤣 Well Done though, was really good stuff.
Can I say this one of the best documentaries I've seen, glad to see Bournemouth flying I hope they get the results they need this season to progress apart from the Everton game 😂 cos we need it more
Very well made and produced. Thanks. Mark Mcadam mentions a game in 1997 against Bristol city. My memory was that the game was a 0-0 against Blackpool…
Watching this awesome documentary on the night Luton get promoted to the Prem. Wow, I can remember 23,000 in against Brighton back in the day. Marvellous thank you.
Fan bloomin' tastic. That is my entire life being a Bournemouth supporter. 1970 my first season with my Dad. I now live in California and have been able to watch every game on TV here and one day soon I want to be at the stadium again.
Great documentary Olly. Some emotional memories in it. if you ever do another edit and want to use my pitch invasion video when we got to the premier league first round you are more than welcome.
I think the parading of the 86/87 trophy was a hastily arranged friendly V Norwich, even though we had been promised the party to end all parties if we got promoted. The season had ended so it couldn't have been Oldham.
I couldn’t find any documentation of it online. The images used in the documentary were only from Fulham. I’m sure we paraded the trophy a few times, though! 🍒
Only just over half an hour through this and this is absolutely phenomenal mate the attention to detail you have put into this and the work done has really shown as this is so well put together, you should be proud of yourself mate🫶
