Thanks for sharing the video. My roots are Floyd and Knott counties. Both sides of my family are from there. I love those mountains and it breaks my heart to see this devastation. My prayers are with this whole area. God Bless🥰

I use to live in the Gray trailer u went by I was born and raised there raised my family there 21 year's ago we lost everything but I still have what's important my family by the grace of God we will rise above this and yes people did go in and robbed our home like this isn't hard enough thanks for the video great job 👍

My heart aches for these community's ravaged by this flood. I pray for help for them soon. I know it is hard for you to travel these roads and see the damage but you are the voice of these people. Blessings to you both.

So sad to see these community's hit so hard by the flooding, Isom was one of my town's we delivered to when I worked for Bonnie Plant farm back in 85 and 86, ive been there during flooding in the springtime but only minor back then, this makes me so sad beyond belief, love all the folks up there everyone is so kind and generous there. Prayers for everyone affected to overcome this.🙏 Thanks for giving us a look at the devastation Coyote's.

The time has come to look past the flood and into the future. You need to act now for aid to get these people through a cold hard winter. Anticipate a wet Spring. My church is making a delivery in November to Eastern KY and I’ve contributed seven coats or jackets and assorted other things. We are all giving but obviously a great deal more is needed. Be careful the hurricane damage in Florida doesn’t cause KY to be overlooked. Keep the appeals going.

I appreciate you posting and sharing this for everyone to see. I grew up down Route 7 but left many years ago. I can't believe the amount of damage and destruction that those people have endured. It breaks my heart. IgnitedCoyote, is it or would it be possible for you to travel and record farther down route 7?

I know how they feel it's like getting hit by a stun gun. When your pick something you wonder if it could be saved or not. You try not to cry but in the same time your tears can't come. Your cried out. It hurts. Just pray God gives them strength and he will. God bless to them

Used to have family in Jenkins, KY. Alot of em passed away years ago. Did her old old house get destroyed in this flood? Her name was Osha Mae Gilliam

I imagine Joe Packs chicken next door got totally destroyed. Haven't seen a picture of it yet. This is so sad to see the old Pic Pac halfway under water.

Cleaning up that IGA will be a job and a half....no doubt most of the stock will be ruined. Looters are the lowest form of life, as bad as scammers who come in after disasters. They do have a tough job ahead of them...winter isn't that far away...a lot of furnaces will need repair or replacing. That is a huge mess. You two are doing your part. Maybe it is a small part, but a very intricate mechanical clock is a collection of small parts, and it won't work without everything in place..

Anyone know how perry County is? Is it advisable to not cone see relatives or roads possible? Rowdy , Ky.
