@@willpugh-calotte2199 I was just another customer. It wasn’t very difficult at all. I told her the process these scammers go through based on what I’ve seen in these videos and she said that’s exactly what has happened with this “representative” from Microsoft.
A scammer almost got me last night! His scam was so well done. He even made his phone number show as my bank phone number. Luckily I watch this channel and I caught some red flags in time. Thank you Pierogi!
It's easy, I remember the trick from when I was a teenager. You put *67 before dialing to block your number then when someone doesn't answer blocked calls, you can type in "your" number to get through. The jerky boys was a thing back then.
@@hismusicnme Not really no, but if you use the computer to dial calls or "be a dialer" then you can pretty much put anything you want for your caller ID. It's software and it costs money, but yes of course. The *67 thing is pretty much gone now, but "software phones" are a thing.
I noticed an elderly man buying gift cards while on speaker phone at the Dollar General. The person speaking to the old man was very rude to him and he was confused about what cards to purchase. I intervened and asked the man for his phone, after an exchange of pleasantries and getting hung up on, I found out the old man was spending his last 500 in his savings to pay for 'prize money taxes' that he supposedly won. I explained that it was a scam. The old man thanked me and left.
Recently was at walgreens and noticed a 40-50yr old man buying a bunch of gift cards he was at the register about to swipe his card! I explained to him and the cashier that the man on the phone with them was probably a scammer and sure enough it was an Amazon scam. I was able to stop that, the man thanked me and tried to offer me money, I declined and said knowing you didn't get scammed is payment enough for me!
We need these businesses to put up signs by the gift cards that warn people of these scams. Theres no reason they cannot get this under control , just look how fast they insinuated us with all the c*vid bullsh*t.
@@marcothorsen950 My aunt and uncle died too. My mom got the pnemonia shot and guess what....hospital for two weeks on oxygen with pnemonia. 85yrs old. My ex husband gets the flu shot every year....he has had two heart attacks, open heart surgery and the flu every year!
So my grandma has been dealing with more scammers than usual lately. Fortunately, she is pretty on the ball still and does well with technology for an 85-year-old lady. Anyway, if she has any concerns, she’ll call me or my brother before letting anybody access her phone or a computer. We’ve also volunteered to be her tech-support so that she doesn’t have to call anybody when things get complicated. Also, I started showing her some of your videos and she loves them! This call center project is really inspiring, and I’m so proud to be a member of the channel. Keep doing you do!
You've made me scam aware. I was able to save my mom from a scam that seemed SO real. I wasn't sure in the beginning if it was or not. I told her to wait, and we realized it wasn't real. Thanks for all you do.
I wish you would "go to the bank" then come home and tell them, " good news, the bank was able to reverse the transaction so I no longer have your money. Isn't that great news?" Id love to see what they would say.
Indian culture is very family oriented. As an Indian origin person, may I recommend you identify the scammers, identify their parents/family and tell them about what they are doing? I'm pretty sure that parents / family members do not know these people are scamming folks, they think they work at a call center. If more family members knew about this, they could stop them too.
They think these guys are making that much money at a call center?? I do know they're family oriented, but I also know that money trumps common sense in every country.
Scammers think it's an inside joke amongst their scammer friends to call men "Ma'am" and women "sir". They are not mixing it up, they are doing it on purpose to get lulz. This is how we get them back in the same way. They are so ignorant they don't really catch on.
You have becomed my favorite youtuber over night. I see this every day working at the bank. We love being able to stop our customers when we know they are being scammed through the "sweet heart scam". We work really hard everyday to save our customers from being victims of these scammers that contribute nothing productive to this world.
My aunt just got scammed, two $500 target gift cards, I feel so bad, first time this has happened to anyone in my family, I understand now what your doing is amazing please keep it up
Pierogi, you have nerves of steel! I would never be able to talk to a narcissist scammer for hours. I would just scream their ears off and put down the phone. I can't stand narcissists or scammers. Don't know how you keep so calm. You're a hero!
I just wanted to let you know I had two calls today, one from Spectrum cable service, which is like Fios or Xfinity. The voice on the other side had a definite an accent similar to what we all hear. I baited them as they were offering cable services in my location. I called his bluff and asked if he knew my location. He said where my phone was from. I asked where that was and he had no clue. He hung up. A couple of minutes later I got a call from AT&T and DirectTV wanting to decrease my costs. I do not have AT&T or Direct TV. But what I did notice it was the same voice that had just called me about Spectrum. I called him on it and said "Gee, your voice sounds familiar". Guess what, he hung up!! People don't fall for these calls. The calls for Medicare part C calls are ridiculous. I have never heard or received a call from the Federal government with people with such thick accents. They are trying every avenue to get your money!! DON'T FALL FOR IT!! Perogi, keep up the great work!!
I think they have also started hiring voice coaches or something for the 'higher ups' who close the call, I spoke to one the other day and he had a very good English (kinda posh upper/middle class) accent. The original accent came through with certain words though, also he couldn't help but let slip a 'each and everything' or 'yes sir we can see the pcs on our screen' type plurals that no actual native speaker would say. Like the first call on this vid was passed to the 'refund department' and his accent was pretty good at the start, when he got frustrated the native accent started slipping, near the end he dropped it completely. I do one think so be very bery careful ok? They know each and everything of how do we identify the persons. Ok, so they are learnings and changings so you must be on the lookouts ok? These scammer and hackers trying to steal your moneys ok? That bit ^ was a joke, but seriously be careful and I can see them making enough for hiring a voice coach.
I get these calls constantly daily! Senior services, AT&T, Amazon, Medicare and trip offers! I immediately Google the time in India and repeat the time to them and they hang up. I receive so many scam calls daily on my mobile phone that I literally had to purchase a scam blocker app last month from my carrier. The first month the scam blocker app blocked 552 calls. Some calls were still able to get through but overall the scam blocker work. I told one of the I was going to send to our America scam center and he immediately got upset. So what this team is doing is working because they apparently have taken notice. Thank you guys! Continue to “Delete Their Files” btw Their is correct!
Wow he was ruthless! I got a call from "xfinity" a couple months ago and I'm still stumped on if it was a scam or not. I didn't provide them any information but they confirmed the date of my last payment, how much I pay every month, what package I have.........but I got full scam vibes from it for sure! I ended up hanging up on them but it's scary they might have all that info.
You did the right thing! The best thing to do is hang up and call the sales number on your billing statement to verify if in fact the call was legit. That is scary, if these folks from India have that type of information though. Normally they don’t but who knows; we wouldn’t be going through this if American corporations didn’t initially ship our customer service jobs aboard. Now these ppl learnt the Schematics of the call centers and started their own businesses of scamming Americans.
Earlier this Summer, I got a call from claiming it was "Verizon Tech Support". Since I just had a Verizon technician over at my place to upgrade my FIOS service to the gigabit level (and also got rid of my TV package entirely) just the week prior, I figured it may them following up to make sure everything was working correctly, so I answered. I got some guy on there with that Indian accent we all know and love from these videos trying to tell me there was some legal issue with my social security! 🤨 Okay, hold the horses there! Why would Verizon, a telephone/telecom company be calling me about my social security? Verizon has nothing to do with social security, and I called that out to that clown on the other end. He hung up! Imagine that.
You play such a character on these calls, a perfect emulation of a vulnerable old person to set the bait. I was totally rolling on the floor laughing at the line "I don't wanna say I'm a computer computer whiz, I do gmail and I do excel and things like that.. so.."
I'm South African and I must say you doing amazing work for the American people. Keep up the Good work and may God bless each and everyone of you guys💪🏽✊🏽👏🏽🙌🏼
@@simonthedon Woop woop. From CT. My mom almost got scammed, discovery sent her a message-shes with other company. Im with discovery and i told her its a scam. We had a full on fight coz she didnt believe me, i had to phone discovery twice to settle her down.
discovered you via the peoples call center video. the "watching them" is my favorite part of what you guys do. well, that and intercepting calls and getting people money back. ill be sharing your videos with everyone i know.
I've been "amateur scambaiting" for a while. I don't have the resources you do, but I've been able to waste weeks worth of scammers time, and scared a few of them with their IP addresses and sarcastically recommending security updates (letting them know that I know they're not doing a good job protecting themselves). I'd love to figure out how to step it up a little.
create a virtual machine and let them connect then reverse the connection and or use the files sending interface only some remote management software let’s u do this not all of them
@@obnoxiousthegod so far, it's all been on the phone. Texts and phone calls. Most of what I do is gaining their trust to get them to click the grabify link. Then I scare them lol.
I love what you are capable of doing back to these people. My step son is in the US Army and recently was taken advantage by a scam caller and they wiped his account clean. We ended up driving from Pennsylvania to Georgia to help him back on his feet until his next pay. People are scum, but you sir, you're doing a very worthy service to our country and those in it. Thank you
@@malcolmwasher2308 that's what I do. I told them I needed more information from them cause my son, Perogi, would like to know. They've never hung up so quickly.
I get them fairly frequently but they've definitely been more jumpy of late. The most recent one quickly introduced which company she was from but I legitimately didn't catch what name she said, so I asked "Sorry, where are you calling from?" and she obviously thought I meant which country/location, swore under her breath, and hung up. 😂 Probably another Telstra or NBN scam.
@@tearnfourstar aww nooo don’t feel dumb. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to offend or upset. I thought people were trolling honestly. It’s okay, as long as you got the joke you are good! It took me a minute but I said “this guy is way too smart” he knows what he’s doing.. then ohh yeah it’s meant to make fun of the way scammers say delete their, there and they’re files.
I broke a scammer the other day who called and said someone in Dayton, Ohio was trying to use my personal card for a $3500 purchase and did I know anyone from Dayton, Ohio. I said well, yeah I know just about everyone there bc that's where I grew up and she said....oh.... Um well someone in Dayton Ohio is trying to use your card for a purchase, do you know anyone there? I guess how to respond to someone saying yes I do know someone there wasn't in the script lol. I started going off on a tangent about how I offered a few people in Dayton, Ohio my card number to go get gift cards to pay off an accidental mistype for a refund I was supposed to get for Norton antivirus before they hung up lmao I hardly ever get scam calls so it was pretty exciting lol. I actually got another one that day telling me how my apple phone was being shipped but they had some problems and needed some info so I went off on a conspiracy tangent about apple spying on me and got hung up on lol. Idk why but it was so satisfying 🤣
Pierogi, the Enterprise Rent A Car scam is most likely related to the breach of their data and the scammers contact their customers as Enterprise claiming that there is damage on the vehicle rented and that the customer needs to pay to avoid a lawsuit. Go get 'em!
I think you have really shaken things up fo these scammers. I had one call me the other day trying a Telstra scam and they were so nervous that they hung up on me.
Awesome content. I receive probably 15 to 20 scam calls each day. Amazon, ATT, Electric, Cable, you name it. I greet these guys with “Namaste” and they either hang up or go off on a Hindi rant. Love it.
My mom said "Hello, Raj" to a scammer when they called her and that threw the scammer off big time because that was his name and she then hung up, she also said "Hello, Priya" to a female scammer and accidentally guessed her real name in the same way, it was funny.
@@diggie9598 yea plus I wonder if it's a land line or a cell phone number, a lot of scammers get people's numbers from being registered voters or showing up on public searchable lists and they are also able to look those people up by age or how long they've lived at an address etc. Scriptable even.
@@stigrabbid589 I always find it hilarious that they name themselves STEVE or MIKE. Sure let's meet up after your long day at Microsoft and get some khaki slacks at GAP. 😀
My 83 y/o grandma called me extremely worried because she thought I was in jail and had sent “the police”my “bail money”.. I explained to her that it was a scam and immediately asked how much money she sent and what information she gave. She got really embarrassed and wouldn’t tell me how much she sent but said “enough to make her broke”. Not to mention WHILE I was at her house, 4 different scammers called but because of your videos, I answered & messed with them for a while and told them to never call again. It’s just heartbreaking
The government should take note on how you guys are doing this and do this on a large scale, !! But thank you for ur help, you guys are all amazing and deserve all the creds/ support 💙💙💙💙💙
Just finished watching this and it really puts into perspective just how much time is spent with these scammers (and so much more in the background). As always, thank you for what you do! Keep them looking over their shoulders!
Props to all of you foilks. Good going. Look forward to hearing more on this. ALSO, Jim coming out of his home to help out...pretty cool. He was the first person I seen doing this...and I absolutely love him for it. I periodically refer all my friends and clients to watch his content because he explains stuff so well. Keep up the glorious work folks.
Get them baby! Get all the files you can! As many as possible! I am so proud of you Honey. God has put you on this earth to protect all of our elderly & others that don't know what's going on! You are teaching us and show us how they're scamming us and thank God for you baby thank God for you all!!!!
I used to work in a call center that all day long we got cancel calls for credit scores subs and we were supposed to talk them into keeping it. These scammers never try to talk them into keep it so that shows you it is a scam right away.
Found your page via Ashton and Art’s page. I’m truly impressed with you. Although I can’t offer any funds of support, you have my true appreciation for all the work you and your team do! May I say I don’t usually believe these scammy emails and I get at least 5 a week, I always verify the email address. Usually it’s truly bogus and I mark it as spam. I may be 60, but I’m definitely not gullible!
I wish there was a way for volunteers to help you from around the world. I'm disabled and can not go out to work, but I could help a few hrs a week on a computer. You need to be making an app for us good hearted ppl wanting to help others x
Next time you should leave a folder on the desktop that says "Family Banking" filled with all bogus information or a custom file that forwards all their info to one of your servers.
Great you guys are doing all of this. So many people getting scammed. These people are so bad. Can’t believe the lengths they go through to scam people. Great job
There was a moment when he said 'now he's going through my files which is really annoying". I actually thought to myself, how is he seeing that while he's in the car?
I really appreciate what you are doing, and I hope your efforts are rewarded with the end of these scam call centers. I wont fall forvtheir scams, but I sure am tired of being called when im sleeping. I work nights.
Almost 4hr video but I could watch this type of stuff all day long!🙌🏼 I love watching you give these crooks hell, oh wait, I mean "computer scientists" 🤣🤣 Great stream man, and thank you for doing what you're doing!
Thank you mate I was watching live but I couldn't get on the live chat. Watching from England 🇬🇧. Thank you and your team for all the work you do and I'm sure one day you'll actually get someone arrested. Love your work mate I hope all goes well 👍💓
I've been doing this to scammers and telemarketers for years, but never thought to record video of it. I just wasted their time but never gave them any info or system information. These videos change everything!!! Challenge accepted!!! Standing up a couple new VMs for fun and games!! Keep up the great work!!
This was s the best, I hope there will be more of these call centres that will be largely more plentiful than those nasty ones. Take care, and all success!
Pierogi 💙, I missed quite a bit of the live stream today. What I listened to was awesome !! can’t wait to watch the entire later tonight!! Thanks for all you & your team do 💙
Just received a scam call this morning. I now combat these by playing the scammer payback theme tune back down the phone to them 😂 keep up the good work man!
I used to have fun with scammers but some were so stupid with repeating I got frustrated n couldn’t take it any longer! Now most calls just hang up or if I answer and push a button I get disconnected before even speaking. I understand vulnerable people not capable of these scams but it’s so obvious to me. I also stalk their Facebook if it’s off there to see how new it is and warn anyone I know if it’s a known person who’s account is duplicated and I report them too. I’ve shared all that everyone is doing as much as possible. Keep doing all you do to help and keep the humor in my days ❤️
Sorry had to leave your live stream but I just finished watching it and it was awesome as always!! Love the new scene!!!! So happy that you got all the information to bring those scammers to their knees!!! 💙💙💙💙
I just recently discovered you guys. I've been in IT in one form or another since 1992. I've done everything from building PC's to Layer 3 engineering and VoIP. I have avoided so many scams because of my knowledge in the business. If I could choose right now how to live out and work the rest of my life, it would be doing what you guys do. Also helping the homeless and hungry, anywhere. Keep up the great work!!!!!
I love what you guys do. You are doing such a grt job. I hope one day these scammers are all locked up. Im from South Africa and try to catch you live when i can. I watched every live of the people's call center. Cant wait to see the next one.. Love your music i stream it every day on Spotify while cleaning my house. 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰
My girlfriend sometimes mutes me and I'll start yelling, "mute carro ban carro! Bowl! Jaldi! Jaldi!" It's hilarious and I thank you for the Hindi lessons. Please don't stop the Hindi
I wanted to show a new lottery scam with numbers, but because I am completely inept at everything technology, I cannot. I have received three different scams, in as many day's. Thank goodness for my education from you! Much love!
We use to say that back in the 70’s when I was a kid. Not to scammers of course, but to anyone who called our house phone. My parents were so mad that we weren’t allowed to answer the phone anymore lol. But we thought it was funny
Found you while following Kitbogo. Both of you are great for informing the masses as to how these scams are perpetrated. While certainly entertaining, it educates us to take these criminal enterprises seriously. As we should. God bless you and yours.
I'm watching this and the chat at the same time and the amount of people asking to show the screen makes me think they are themselves scammers looking for a clue to warn their fellow scammers on a live stream block anyone asking to see the screen is what would do. Love your work
Man, what I could do to their building. Many modern multi-floor office buildings are wired for smoke and fire detectikn and protection. You payback guyz oughta know you can turn on the fire sprinklers and freeze the elevators with two clicks.
Thank you for what you do. My mom was getting scammed by a "need money to get home from Europe because the military won't pay for it until after i get there" scam. He was scamming my mom for $5000. I called her bank and explained what was going on to the bank manager and she cancelled the transfer and suspended my mom's account until my mom came to the bank on person.
Hello..my name is Dea. I'm a 70 yr old fan whos recovering from a stroke. I n 1:16:15 ever watched youtube till i had it.. you guys make my day. I love you and what you do for us.
Could you track down the numbers to the parents of these scammers?... Then rat them out to their own mother and father? Causing interpersonal mayhem could drive them away from scamming forever... Just a thought. Considering the underhanded tactics they use, I believe that a lot of people would think this method justified. Would make for a potentially entertaining stream...
@@Epsellis so pretty much, it would be the same as any other country ? No matter where the scammer lives some parents will shrug & other parents would shame their kids.
@@Epsellis that was kinda my thought process... Due to the cultural differences, it may make a big impact... Or you could end up finding an entire crime family, if they clearly don't care (reason to investigate further and contact the police).

Nearly got caught by a post from The RunningManZ channel saying I had won his giveaway prize on RU-vid...when they asked for shipping to be paid in bitcoin I knew it was a Scam...I learnt that from you....THANKYOU . Keep up the good work you are saving not only money but lives as well.
Thank you so much for your hard work to keep so many people safe from these scammers, it has opened my eyes to how simple these scams are yet so effective as they use peoples fears to manipulate them, keep shutting these places down. Love your videos.
I was watching Scammer Revolts the other day and he got control of a scammer call center and was answering calls saving people from getting scammed. I watch several different scam baiter’s 🙂 I have gotten several emails from Norton, Amazon and I don’t have either one of those lol I don’t even bother calling them I just delete the emails.
Between 8am and 12 pm someone will be waiting for a box of money wrapped in an old towel. I'd enjoy seeing that person open a box containing just the towel, a very raggedy one.😆
