Good talk. A few points perhaps the author is aware of. . . 1) not a pyramid hierarchy. Em produce several pyramid hierarchy each in a different worldview or domain of application. There is a plumber domain em pyramid and and political domain em pyramid and a medical domain pyramid, and etc. No single Em can be optimized for multiple domans simulataneously and no single pyramid. Also, not a pyramid in some domains. some domains most efficient will produce funnel (upside down pyramids) structure and other domains produce binary helix structure as most efficient pattern for em relationships. and there are many other structures available. 2) Humans are not so easily replaced because they are general purpose machines with unknown complex of multiple domain Ems internally as considering a connectome or cognitive map. Humans are the produce of much much evolution and humans as a group should be compared to a very very very old and wise and evolved Em civilization. However, the real world faced by machines and Em's and humans is very very complex and something like disease resistance to a pathogen in humans took many billions of evolutionary cycles of community to develop and would take similar efforts for E. Without human biology, much of the human learning will not apply to EM's which will require different solutions. Consider the simple phenomena or rust or oxidation on a computer or machine product. Rust is a simple problem that requires a very very very complex biology response which is different for organics than machine domains of construction and reproduction. Intellectually, we can consider things like Trust or emotions like loathing of one person by another as complex evolutions and adaptations that may not be trivial to re-create in a mechanical system that does not die repeatedly and evolve in mixed group sizes over many many many generations. Something like trust may not be entirely reproducible or understandable in an Em as described in this video.

Lay perspective: WinTel machines are often likened to Em from the Age of Em, as if they're driven by the brain of Bill Gates (typed by ChatGPT)

Those dates you laid out in the beginning, showing the unexplainable boom in technical growth around 10-11 thousand years ago and the one that started happening about 200 some years ago coincidences with the timing of when Scriptures tell us that the Son's of God left their 1st estate an came to earth and mated with all who they'd have. All cultures talk about this event in many different ways, but all agree that the beings brought with them knowledge of technology. The flood wiped them out , some of their offspring survived, the Hebrews under Joshua wiped out a good portion who were left with the power of Jehovah. God chained the 200 Fallen Ones in the abyss for 70 generations. In Psalms a generation is said to be 70 years. These beings would have been being released around the middle of the Industrial age. Look at where we've gone since about 1850 to today. Now consider that these beings hate humans and can possess a sentient mind, in fact I am starting to see that none of this is new, it's just a rebranding of magic by cloaking it in the guise of technology. I don't know if this is true, I have studied a lot of ancient Scriptures from many ancient peoples. I believe the Bible and believe we are going to witness the veil being lifted so to speak, and not to let benevolent beings in, but rather a bunch of very smart Liers. God Chai

It's famous from TV and Real world events. Most people find out about and subscribe because the recognize the name "TED" from "TED Talks". subscribing is often done to boost the profile of the subscriber and make subscribers profile seem smart. So subscribing to this channel is similar to like how people buy the wall street journal to appear educated and wealthy of a class, but don't actually read the wall street journal.

Fallen Technology. There is nothing new under the Sun. I have a hard time even talking to Ai. I ask for directions while driving sums it up. What about emotions? We don’t need more assholes!
