As I live across the road from Rolls Royce home in Derby England this makes me so proud of RR ya Americans will put them down and slag them off but Rolls Royce are iconic and there's not much to be proud of in western countries anymore so being able to look and plan for the future is inspiring. Well done RR and to the designers of this incredible flying car.🇬🇧❤️

Removing the fuel tank is a clever design choice, especially since it drastically reduces weight and leaves room for unnecessary add-ons like tail lights. Flight controls? No. Have a steering wheel, because if it were an efficient flying machine it’d just be an airplane.

Great CGI + music?

In order to call this thing a car of any kind it should be able to drive on land. Been seeing these air vehicle prototypes since the early 2000's still not ready.

Aircars will be helpful during Snowstorms. Heating the outside metal should melt the snow. When quantum computers and AI develop fully, feeding GPS of destinations using an App in each vehicle should let them communicate with each other to prevent accidents.

For those wondering if this could ever be a real. This vehicle will cost significantly more than a private jet to operate per mile $10,000-$30,000 per hour of flight time due to fuel alone! The reason is because direct lift with a jet engine has terrible efficiency (a private jet will be ~10x more efficient and is already too expensive for most people!) Its a fun concept but the person who designed it was not worried about physics or performance!

Yes. Roads/Highways are Full; Air is Abundant. People can fly their Aircars at various altitudes in the Air. With Modern technology, it is possible to avoid areas where Aircars are attempting to ascend and descend without Crashing. Moreover the Speed with which we can reach our destinations is important in this modern world. The Baloons should stop the non-functioning vehicles from falling down to the level of our buildings, from where they can be safely pulled down. Time gained will be far more than Time Lost by this new venture !

Hopefully, every person in the world will soon have an Aircar. That should be the Immediate goal for the humanity. Engineering is Flying when compared to the field of Genetics which is lagging very badly. How come we lost our Abdominal Muscles (we need what other species have) compared to Rhesus Monkeys that can jump up to a branch and even jump down from the branch without feeling hurt. So Many aged adult humans eventually hurt themselves falling by accident. Doctors make a lot of money because of that. Monkeys have 4 hands/NOT 2. Look at their bodies. Right now I am mentioning Monkeys, Not Apes. We can only walk straight with suit and necktie. They too can walk like us for only very short distances. Daily, they expend a lot of energy relative to their body sizes. They are very active indeed.

Aircars can only come as a public transport by only specific countries......the cost of collateral damages are higher

People are barely able to roll along a paved road without compromising theirs and others safety so it better be full auto. Just remove man from flight decisions and traffic control and we might have individual flying devices. About the concept, Harrier, Avrocar, etc use jet power to climb vertically and float and were developed in the 60's, nothing new here. About power source, the future running on JP4 fuel?? Design is appealing. Conclusion, this will be one more toy for people with absurd amount of income.

Imagine the fuel this would drink, has no wings, full jet propulsion supporting it. If one jet fails, instant crash. Looks cool, it's an on screen design. Not realistic.
