This was the best performance of Lollapalooza 2014! I was there in the crowd when the rains opened up during "Sometime Around Midnight" for an epic performance
YT was playing my mix of random music and this came up and I was like cool, and then yes its a whole live set, then when I looked to see where it was I read that it was Lolla 2014 and then I realized that I was there and this was the first time I heard them and have been a fan ever since!
How everyone got so into that drum solo and then they went struggle into "Does This Mean You're Moving On". They did that in Vegas too, it was my favorite part of the show. ❤️
I have not seen them since 2013. I have tickets for Tulsa in October and KC in January. I will be singing to the rooftops and dancing like the end of the world!
If I remember correctly, Childish Gambino was starting to play during Airborne’s set. My friends wanted to go to Gambino since they never heard of Airborne, but I convinced to stay for this and we fucking LOVED IT!! It was amazing to see this live and in the rain!
To anyone saying their new album isn't them let me just say what i see.. yes it doesn't compare to the first two but think about it, Mikel was going thru a time that inspired great songs like Midnight or Summer Dresses. Look at Songs of God and Whiskey! Amazing album and totally Mikel lyrics, why? Cause he wrote them around the same time their debut album! Right now it seems they're experimenting and I can totally see it with Dope Machines. So just bare with them now cause even the greats have their downs!
I don't know what everyone's talking about. I love Dope Machines. Wonderful album. Not a big fan of Hell and Back but the ending of the record from Childish Bride to Chains is flawless. Those songs to me feel like one cohesive story.
Thanks for uploading I enjoyed it ! Great concert, the rain was not actually breaking it ;-) I follow this band as from the first album do I have to say more no. It's pitty that they do not concert in Europe. Maybe it'll come if they continue like they do.
It was a good concert video but poor Adrian. I know everyone misses Noah, but Adrian was working his ASS off and didn't get two seconds of screen time.
Darren (drummer) is still the same. Noah( bassist) however is sadly no longer part of this band. Originally temporarily left because he just became a father but he then got fired :(
Wow, Mikel so wasted... Can barely get words out without slurring. I'm a big fan of TATE, but man.... They are trending down fast. Just don't love their new stuff, but want to love it. Not sure what the answer is. You can tell everyone loved stuff from the first album, some from the 2nd. They need to get the writing and sound back closer to their debut album.
What happened to the band? The music is good and all, but they lost a chunk of they originally started with. Bass is gone, Drums gone, Violinist doesn't act the same. She doesn't have the same energy. And the lead has gone Hollywood.

Nope, they’re still going strong today......They played a great lockdown gig, new album out, and Mikel (the overdosed singer) has a book recently published.....
