The moment I heard this song, and every time I've heard it ever since, I am transported back to the days of my youth, the early 80s, fresh out of the Navy, 21 years of age with all of life's endless opportunities stretching out ahead of us in all its fullness, in college and dating a prima ballerina, Tina, one of the most wondrous creations with which God ever graced this Earth. Even though its been nearly 40 years, no amount of time or distance will ever mitigate or ameliorate the pain of our parting....nor dilute the magic of our time together. The passion this due portrays when singing definitely says it's from the heart! My husband & I started our own video production company & we've produced several music videos already. I can tell when artists sing that it's truly a passion. I love this band because both the music & singing are UNIQUE unlike alot of the crappy stuff out today.

i remember when i first heard them on the radio i thought it was the band Brand New. Lo and behold, i looked them up and got the album. I love their style of music. Love the album, but i could never get sick of "sometime around midnight," it's the most lyrically and musically powerful song i've recently heard.....
these guys are true artests.. the song is amazing, its something we can all relate to, im sure we have all felt exactly what this song is saying... and the band knew that.. its awsome song writing because its more of a poem then anything, notice that there isnt a chorus. i just discovered this band, and i am very happy with my discovery. amazing artests.
