Woodland hunting in full summer foliage can be tough going, so Mat Manning sets up a feeder to lure squirrels down from the leafy treetops and into the crosshairs. He also turns the FX Verminator MkII to some impromptu corvid control while waiting it out next to the pheasant release pen.
We’ve got the Air Arms S410 TDR on test this week. This neat takedown airgun packs away into a discreet backpack for transportation, and also happens to be very accurate.

Ive got an Air Arms TDR but I would never shoot a Jay, as they are not that commonplace.

Mat you never cease to produce a great programme, two points I would say might make it even better 1: is it possible to add what calibre you are hunting/testing with even if just in the graphic strip. 2 the news : I think the "Rambo" VO of the news is just unnecessary and a bit off putting. ( my opinion and I work in tv but what do i know?) Your presentation is alway level and informative, why not the news as well.? great show though many thanks.

I bet you were pleased to find the raptor feeding spot. That's what makes shooting special. You are like the raptor, a predator and part of the environment rather than a mere observer.

Excellent work on the Jay...I just wish more people would control them because of their very destructive predating on songbirds eggs and young..I know they are a very attractive looking bird but as the saying goes'Looks can be deceiving'...!!

I got one of these (S410 TDR) only last week and they are everything Mat says they are! The only problem is the safety catch has the propensity to fall out.

The quality of these videos, makes them well worth waiting a fort night for. That Air Arms 410 is a good looking rifle,..I do like that one.

can you do a pest control with the Hatsan 125? I use that to eliminate pest pigeons and fruit bats in town settings and occasional hunting agouti.
