Isn't it a solid dot for soft scheduling and a tiny circular dot that's not colored in for hard scheduling? I'm sorry I get so confused because everyone seems to slightly tweak the method to fit their needs lol

I haven't heard of that distinction, but I'd just suggest using whatever system of symbols makes sense to you.
