I’m so glad the size comparison was helpful for you! I was totally blown away at the size of this thing, that’s for sure! It does feel smaller now though, you get used to it ;) Also tip for the speaker- the app and the speaker cannot be connected at the same time. You’ll have to either close the app or restart the scooter to free up the Bluetooth for the speaker to pair :) otherwise it’s totally seamless!

@@DrBernieBabylon Maybe get a speaker that's got an SD card slot, that way, you can have your music and use the app?

Now that all the undergrads are back on campus, it really helps😅 but since it’s tied to the throttle position, I think only Segway scooters will work with the speaker :/

Without sentry mode, you can just go. There doesn’t seem to be a key. I vaguely remember some NFC phone key talk but maybe that was only for p100s… I’ll look into it more!

Yea so I just checked, nfc does not seem to be working rn, but if it did, it’s just a toggle for sentry mode. You can do that manually on the app for now

They reply fast, not the best English but overall I’m glad I went this route!

@@koka784 sorta! There was a weird tracking website in Chinese that they didn’t share with me but I found through the documents they uploaded. This was the major gripe I had, they never told me about it, I just found it. But they’re responsive over message and this isn’t enough to make me not recommend going with them and saving over a grand

Yes, the speaker is responsible for the engine sounds, not the GT2. You can use the speaker with other scooters from segway too, like the G30P. also i dont know how you would pair a different speaker to the scooter, i dont think that is possible. essentially, this specific speaker is needed to get the engine sounds :)

yes you can!

you probably figured this out, but you gotta ride at lower speeds for the first mile or so before you can go into the app and take off the speed limiter!

I haven’t done a thorough range test yet, but this whole video, to and from where I went, took about 10% battery if that helps! Will do more range testing soon!

@@sujeethpeddi1265 it was 3300 all in. Scooter is doing better these days! Med school is hard so i have been MIA but I’ll update soon :)

techincally it is not legal, but its not enforced in my area. there are also not many police around here. I'm also mainly using back roads for my own safety! Traffic doesnt get too upset, there are lots of scooters in my area so i guess they are used to it. I feel respected on it, and people are usually very curious but not unfriendly. I could totally see me getting harassed in less safe areas tho...

@@DrBernieBabylon thanks for the reply doctor, I just got it, I live in FL but there is one cop I see every morning that is like terminator with the helmet and the shades on a motorbike harassing anything he sees. He doesn’t even care, he blocks traffic in the middle of the road pulling someone over every morning. It’s so annoying! 🤦🏽‍♂️ I will have the tread carefully with this scooter lol

@@JimmyPersad Congrats on getting it! We both also have comma.ai kits lol, very cool! I looked into florida law for you and saw that for the most part they are illegal except for in special areas like miami where they have the rental scooters, but the GT2 is definitely not something the law is familiar with lol... idk if people can ride golf carts and ebikes im not so sure why these should be a problem...

@@DrBernieBabylon thanks! yeah I was checking to see where I can ride it as well. I have a hard time trying to get this massive behemoth to fit in my car it’s like a freaking mini motorcycle when you see this scooter in person LOL . I was like WTF and it freaking weighs a bitch and a half lol 😂

I tried the P100s. I really didnt like it. the stem felt really wobbly for me, more than other segway scooters. I returned it asap.
