I was literally thinking about this topic when I got the notification for this video. It should be noted that the culture of trandoshans encourages them to hunt, not necessarily to kill. For example, a trandoshan navigator will hunt for a new and/or efficient path through the Galaxy, while a trandoshan chef will hunt for the best recipe possible.
*Fun fact:* The zeltron were first introduced in the crazy and never considered canon Marvel comics from the 70's. I think that's enough reason to consider those comics the pinnacle of sci-fi XD

I'm curious as to the other stereotypes in Star Wars, like for the Rodians, Chiss, Gungans, Zabrak, and other species not covered on this list. Hutts of course don't surprise me with their stereotypes. They don't exactly want to disprove them anyway. And if Twileiks didn't want to be viewed as slaves, when why are they such pushovers?
Twileks are not pushovers just good submissives that know their place. One of the better races in the galaxy in fact. Because everyone NEEDS a good sub.

Rodians are known for their violent ways, much like Trandoshans. However, they were also well-known for their theater(and most likely movies), which was quite violent, but was often well-written with stories that resonate even for non-Rodians. So, I'm thinking something like 80s action films. Selkath, on the other hand, were known as a helpful, peaceful species devoted to caring for their homeworld's oceans and to treating the ill and injured. Bounty Hunters like Mantu and Chata Hyoki brought shame to their people.

I wonder if humans (and Twi'Leks too since they are very common) bred more than the other species. Is that why they are so spread out? Lots of humans desiring space for themselves?
The latter is probably unwilling tbh. Being a culture of tolerating one's own species to become slavery probably ends with a lot of unwanted children born out of wedlock around the galaxy
Chiss are from what I understand derived and speciated from humans. They share a common ancestor. Which is why they look identical apart from their pigmentation and well developed nightvision eyes.

only a sith deals in absolutes, just because we have so much good stuff in the old expanded universe (kotor 2, thrawn trilogy, hand of thrawn duology, new jedi order, republic commando series, republic comics, tales of the jedi comics) there's still a lot of stuff coming out that has actually good writing (andor, lost stars, alphabet squadron, charles soule's darth vader comics, doctor aphra comics) the expanded universe is better, yeah, but that's because it had a much longer lifespan, you don't have to pay to read this stuff either if you know where to look 🏴☠
Wow so many unique alien species. Jeez i hope theres alot of characters as jedi and sith that reflects these alien people and have unique quirks and abilities that will then be used in battle and duels that starwars is known about...and not have just a bunch of humans instead. That would be sick.🤔
I have always believed that I am amongst the bith species, I even cosplay as one! But people are quick to point out that bith are good at math and music, I’m musically talented, but I’m not the very best. Since I can only play music by ear. My least favorite subject was math. But regardless I believe I truly am a bith.
