My fiance bought me the 1150 smoker for my b day 3 days ago and it has this screen. I've already used for a few cooks and it's amazing, also works with the app very well I haven't had any issues.
Found out that they do have one. It does lower smoke (180-200+-) 200 all the way up in 10 degree increments. No 225 but you can set at 220 or 230. Got one and it works great!
Great now I just need to drop another grand to get a new grill so hopefully I can use it more then once. My controller worked one time. Hope this one last longer
PB1150PS3 Temps 180-257 F produces the most intense smoky flavor, LOW & SLOW...275-356 F is for baking, roasting either before or after a LOW & SLOW experiment and possible add a smoke tube.... 401-500 F is for sear/flame broiling...... I called customer service to register my grill and went over page 14 in the manual. Being new to Pit Boss I felt the need to ask, as some things are left out in RU-vid Videos
I bought a 1600 series grill and i can't get the controller to connect to the App. called customer service and they said it's a known issue that they're working on. I'll give it a few weeks but i don't want my return window to expire.
I just bought the pro series 1150 V3 today I cannot get it to hook up on Wi-Fi it's hooked up to my phone through Bluetooth I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if I need to return it I haven't even done a burn off yet
I would want you to give us a call at our customer service center so we can register, troubleshoot, and resolve this issue. So we can get this handled while on the line! Pit Boss Support 480-923-9630 or scroll to the bottom of this link to access our chat line. pitboss-grills.com/faq
I bought the 1600 PS3. I hate that there is no setting no increase smoke. It burns extremely clean, which, as an engineer I congratulate Pit Boss for, but if I want an energy efficient clean burning grill I would have buy a propane one. I would like to burn slightly dirty sometimes. I will try other brands of pellets and see
Yeah these things are amazing👍 especially if you love having firmware updates failing and getting no support from pitboss. Also this video is cg af. It looks nothing like the video.
has anyone bought one of these things cooked a bunch of food on it then the next day pull all the racks and stuff out then grabbed your water hose to clean it out with pellets still in the auger........i did and that sob might as well be welded in there
Water is an absolute sure way to ruin a pellet grill no matter how many videos there are out there that say you can spray out the interior. There are several videos on RU-vid about this on a Pit Boss. You will probably need a new auger after bending the old one.
@@dennisg.7498 i gave up and bought a new one expensive mistake the auger tube was full of pellets and i stuck the hose in it like a dumbass then got pissed and beat the shit out of the smoker with a sledge hammer damn
