Some clubs will just play B teams for the final league matches if a club has large depth they could just split the squad off I couldn't imagine a nearly 40 year old modric playing in this tournament. If clubs like Manchester City, Madrid ect split there squads they won't have problems. Basically big teams that play against small teams always play reserves and subs.
