@@superiorgo2368also I attempted this challenge and this is how it went: starting off I did what you did, got a shiny tentacool, than got my next shiny (to use pokemon quests revive feature) and when I got a poison pot so I can level up tentacool. I got a shiny koffing. Then shortly later I decided while I try completing the game, if want a psychic type. So I went for abra which didn’t take too long, then my team seemed almost set, but I felt I’d need to make my team stronger, AND OUT OF NOWHERE GOT A SHINY MAGNOMITE!!! I was so ecstatic since this Mon is good for late game, and now I’m almost done with the second quarter of the game, and is exited to see what is to come for my run in the future. (Also a tip is that when I get a shiny I’ll put an S at the beginning of their name to make sure when I replace them with a new shiny I don’t accidentally sac them off.)

Thanks friend. Completing the dex is a pain in this game. I needed a pikachu on my last play through and it took 24 pots of his soup to get him. Lot of luck required.

It took months but I was doing it on auto at my desk at work or while studying so it never really felt like work. Weirdly that account hasn’t gotten a shiny since.

I'm glad we found each other. I've got another challenge coming out soon.

I’ve never bought the pots either. I’m not in a rush. But I play pretty casually. Just a little bit here and there while I’m studying or watching a movie

Glad to see you're back. I'm trying to clear the post game content but since stats are so tied to the pot they were made with my team isn't strong enough. Which means I need a whole new team of shinies and pray that are good.

I picked Charmander I actually just stared my team is charmander geodude and pidgey I picked geodude and charmander since I want gravier and charizard

@@KhadidjaBoutchicha-so6mk solid choices. Charmander get a lot of moves that cover a wide area. Good for faster clears on levels.

Hey welcome and big thanks. It’s such a small community that’s into this game so I love when a real fan leaves a comment. Tangela is a good one. I have a friend name Angela who always pronounced it like her name with a T. English was her second language and there was no convincing her that her name would be said one way and that the Pokémon was said another.

@@superiorgo2368 lmaooo yeah crazy how obscure this game is for a Pokemon game. I used to pronounce tangela exactly that way lol so yeah the "tangle" pun went straight over my head 🤣 To be fair English is also my second language, in french, his name is saquedeneu

I know it’s crazy they got upgrades and no one else did. Would probably be so cheap to add them in.

That’s fair. I play it more like an idle game. Let the battles auto and have fun chasing speed times and shiny Pokémon.

I wanted a water type so bad. Just my luck. Smart call on the ghastly. I evolved mine in Go and was pretty disappointed

Cause that’s cheating. Wouldn’t be a challenge at all if I just cheated. Jealous of the farfetched. Been farming for eevee today and pulled 5 farfetched, 2 Snorlax and 3 kangaskhan

It’s always a good time to go back. You can beat it in a week or so. Espeon is a great choice, I love how different it is.

That’s how it goes. When you want it you can’t have it. My kid played for 2 days and on the second day a shiny Ponyta showed up in town.

I’m pretty sure he’s one of the best in the game so I would like one too

Yah I sort of did. Took way to long but was worth it. I thought I got lucky getting them early on but it really made it harder later.

It can take a while I went weeks at the beginning of that challenge and didn’t see one. That account didn’t get another after the challenge was done. New account got two shinies before finishing the 3rd zone. It’s all luck, you can speed it up by doing small recipes that take 2 expeditions though. Good luck!

There’s a Chinese version of the game that has more but we never got it anywhere else. It’s a shame.

Been looking into it. China got updates but it’s produced by a different company there. I’m going to assume there was some attempt to get the updates everywhere but that company was maybe road blocking it.

I know it's a drag. It's crazy that they never went further with it here. Even magickarp jump got stuff added over time.

I could see that. There is weird power spikes where you just breeze through stuff and then it a wall that can take a week to overcome.

I hear you I lost a pony too. Uninstalled and lost the code.

Odds are about 1/300-1/400. Most people will beat the game before they get 100 Pokémon. So a lot of people don’t know about it.

I'm jealous. I've been farming normal types for a week and haven't seen one yet.

Mean and Green. It’s a good choice.

When you beat levels you get ingredients that you can make soup out of. Different recipes attract different types. Sometimes you want the Pokémon that come so you use them in battle but other times you can get rid of them by training them with your other pokemon.

@@superiorgo2368 I know how to do all that I got to the 3rd or 4th world but I struggled getting materials and more power. Getting specific Pokémon took alot of materials....

Yah it does. Certain worlds have different drop rates but you also get more ingredients from scrapping the equip stones. A bigger thing is upgrading the pots. It will make much stronger pokemon. Thats why I had to take my team to level 100 in this vid. They all came from the first pot. @@Mr.Freeze420

Yah but I prefer mobile. Because of the way the batteries work. It’s better to pop in a few times a day casually and I’m not going to carry my switch everywhere.

Most of things you need to do are not allowed.. I hear it’s easier on the mobile version though. Sorry about meowth. It’s so easy to miss.

I dig it. Shiny Pawmot should have been the mascot for Pokémon scarlet.

I like shiny growlithe. It can be a little hard to see in quest though.
