This is the 2nd art book of artist Rene Cordova to have released via a Kickstarter by Chamaco books, the first being 'my beauties' which focuses on Rene's beautiful pin up work. This second sketchbook, focuses on a range of styles and characters, from original characters to some of our favourites like He-man, Thunder cats, Mario, Batman (and many other DC heroes and villins), Spiderman, venom (and many more Marvel super heroes) and much more - an awful lot in fact, especially when you consider this book is 368 pages in size.
The medium of choice through the book ranged from digital, to a lot of traditional materials such as graphite pencil, ballpoint pens, markers, watercolour, inks and more. I can't recommend this book enough, as well as the my beauties book, there is so much content in there for a pretty good price! What was your favourite illustration in this one? :)

Along with the pin-up book, both of these volumes are beautiful. I'm curious to know who he considers as his art heroes and major influences, and how long it took for him to come into his own style. Fantastic work.

So much variety in this book. I’d be curious to know how the publisher/artist selected the work to include and what ratio of sketch/in process and rendered pieces they wanted and why

Right? I can never settle on a style long enough to develop it to a point where I am satisfied, but Rene gives me some confidence that maybe it's okay to keep drawing in whatever styles you enjoy! Thank you for the question, I have made a note of it :)

Rene Cordova is a geat artist I would ask: How do you think Pop Culture and trends impacts nowaday with fanart or proyects? Also I'm interested the chibi one, because that style is how I met Cordova's designs

Yeah Rene's chibi characters are awesome! You should check out Derek Laufmen too if you aren't familiar with his work - another great chibi artist and another that comes to mind might be Skottie Young too. I have made a note of your question thank you!

Great question, so do you mean, how would he change / improve any current designs of well known comic book characters? i.e if he could improve superman or batmans design?
