@@hojmatros5102 mandarin gobies I had two that came from my live coral they had a tunnel net work under my coral and would poke their heads out. when I grabbed a pinch of brine shrimp and put my hand half way down the tank they would come out and eat out of my fingers then you got to see their turn beauty. One of my top ten favorite saltwater tank fish.

Absolutely amazing! So beautiful! I had 250 gallon tank and had a variety of fish in it. Several would pair up and bred. I loved watching the how the parents were with the babies and watching the babies grow. I had the tank at the foot of my bed and I would watch that instead of TV!! Much more relaxing and soothing after a long day as a nurse!! 💞💞

The male has both the organs called ovotestis but female organs are dormant. Once the head female dies, hormonal signals are sent to change the gender. Once the male becomes female she then chooses a partner to start breeding again.

Well no, because fish don't have genders. And it's not that they change they all have the capacity to do it, for example all clownfish when hatched are all male. The change to female is determined on the demand. Other fish can do this

wow! They can live for 10 years. Growing up it felt like it was implied that fish were simple minded dispensable little beings, and yet now knowing fish can identify humans and live so long, it feels so cruel that it was ever implied that they just didn't matter. Thanks for the great video.

i've always loved clownfish. had a decent aquarium when i was a kid and remember bringing home my clownfish from the distributor guy (my dad used to buy fish and maintain large aquariums for business and rich ppl). i buckled him up in his little box and bag for the ride home, and named him clowny. RIP little guy

The image of a clownfish triggers so many fond memories in my head. When I was little, my papa caught one in a bucket for me and my sister to play at the beach. Ended up releasing it though. Though we won't get to recreate such memory ever again, I'm sure my papa is happy up there.
