Its funny that in almost every game Kingpin is very hard boss fight, even harder than Rhino. Which is weird cause Rhino is actual superhuman and Kingpin is just regular strong man.

In Season One of "Marvel's Daredevil" on Netflix, Fisk repeatedly slams a car door on a business partner's head until it is completely crushed because he embarrassed him while on a date. It's a grim and gritty show that tries to ground itself on reality.
I can assure you, the fat shaming is ironic. According to Comic Lore, the kingpin is a practitioner of the ancient oriental art of sumo-wrestling and his training has left him with a body that is 2% of fat with the other 450 pounds being mostly muscle. Bottom line, Death hugs from him not only smother, they crush.
This game had a great Kingpin boss fight The way Beenox adjusted the damage players take in this game was way more consistent then in Shattered Dimensions, at least

Lucian Ganea this game is better than it's given credit for, but yeah Spider-Man PS4 is still the superior game. It has a lot going for it, and is a tough act to follow in terms of superhero games in general.

@@Morbius-Tension I’m so glad I’m not the only one who noticed that! The cane beam he spreads across the area, the exaggerated leaps to slam on the ground, and even the sumo stomping before he charges! Of all the Kingpin boss fights I’ve played, these games share some of the most creative moves! 😂
Did anyone else notice that the jokes that Peter makes during this fight while making fun of kingpin, those jokes were literally just stolen from the ultimate Spider-Man comic?
Kingpin is misguided, but he does make a few points. People want a world with order and someone who can make the hard choices when they can’t or don’t want to. However, as Spider-Man clarified, those necessities should not come at the expense of the people’s lives and rights. And that the person who makes the hard choices should be a leader. Not a boss or tyrant. Also, people want to know that no crime, misdeed, or call for help goes unanswered. That justice will always be served. Furthermore, they want a world where people believe in each other. Who are willing to let go of their petty reserves and work together to build a world that benefits all. I wish this game did a better job explaining all of this.
When I first fought this battle, I didn't know the roasts Spidey uses during the fight were actually a reference to the exact same jokes he used when he fought Kingpin in the comics.
This fight is just stupid. Kingpin is maybe as strong as a normal human can posibly be but cmon, spidey can lift busses. He can barely lift cars. Spidey could one KO him in one single punch
It's just comic history. Kingpin has always been able to go toe-to-toe with Spider-Man despite not possessing superpowers. Spidey has apparently always held back when they fought, at least until Back in Black. Tombstone in Spectacular Spider-Man was admittedly an easier sell as a worthy physical opponent. Kingpin is a great criminal mastermind no matter what hero he's opposing, but in a fight it's more believable to have him facing off against guys like Daredevil, the Punisher, and perhaps Captain America.
ThePinkMan Yeah. He's fought all of those guys before. He's Daredevil's Archenemy, has fought against The Punisher a few times, and once fought Captain America. He got him in a bear hug, but they were interrupted by Falcon and Redwing. Kingpin has no superpowers, but he's still very strong and surprisingly fast and agile for a guy his size. That's really what takes most Superheroes by surprise is just how damned quick he is. Spider-Man has defeated him before, but he's had trouble with Fisk. True Superheroes never kill their opponents if it can be avoided. And as for Spectacular Spider-Man, they couldn't get Fisk himself due to copyright issues, so they gave Tombstone an upgrade.
I love how kingpin just pushes spiderman away, as if spiderman doesn't have 30+ ton strength at all. He could knock him out in one punch if he wanted to and there wouldn't be anything kingpin could do to stop it.
Go Revive Yourself During one of their crossovers, Spider-Man was blinded and his Spider Sense increased in power until he actually had the equivalent of Daredevil's super senses.
Anyone else hate kingpin’s voice actor for this game? He had a voice of a dad that complained when his son didn’t get a foul call. Like everyone was delusional for not noticing.
It was a very rushed game, they probably put more focus on getting the game done, over the graphics. To support this, they reused almost all the other unlock-able suits from the past 3 games.
