Yess, they showed how he created his web shooters, also how only he could survive the spider's bite as his father's dna was in it (addressed a lot of unanswered questions).......... We got to see Peter to Spiderman transition with the designing of the suit, and also his swinging scenes were so realistic and wayy better than both the other the spiderman movies.
I was really impressed by his suit and the movement in this movie. He really looks like a bug. For example during the fight with the lizard, when he was spinning the lizard up at the school, there was a bug sound effect. Or when he fought the lizard at the tower and was thrown off the side of the building but swung back and landed on a window and started climbing up, he looked like a bug. He looks really agile.
Exactly. This was perfect. Such a visual masterpiece. Really captured spider man and Peter correctly. The actual character. Not just some nice boy next door in a spider man suit like the original.
@Kryptoskillet how will you be emotionally invested when the studio decided to cut some of the subplots that would've made watchers emotionally invested so that they can trim down the footage to 2hrs. I wished they made a directors cut of this film series like the JL snyder cut one.
@Kryptoskillet u didn't watch the both movies clearly, after this decision he was constantly getting reminded by the events , his actions , and the finale he made bad decision on this one . If you didn't like this then i'm sure u didn't like tom holland spiderman then right. because his spiderman did not learned a single thing in his all 5 movies he was in except the last NO Way home. (their also I'm pretty sure they are going to retcon this ending like the homecoming ending. )
MrMejia187 i honestly like this suit,i think their goal was to not only make it different but to make it similar to an actual spider hense the yellow eyes
like most things, this movie wasn't appreciated when it was released. but this movie has aged very well and as time goes, this will be considered a classic. the risks taken with the suit, the villain, no mj, the web shooters, etc. I like this movie. start to finish
@@spider-man303 yeah but were talking how fast he is not the fucking storyline you fans always come up with an excuse he can dodge electros lightning bolts he is actually very agile compared to tobeys
The Joker Tobey is agile too, this dude slipped through a tight space when he was launched by Dr. Octopus, watch his movies again you’ll see how agile he really is he may be bigger than Andrew but he damn sure isn’t less agile.
The Random Chespin Channel This is my favorite Spider-Man film. It is honestly a good movie. People have to remember no movie is perfect. We may have movies that we feel are perfect but generally they are not. This franchise had a lot of potential. It is sad to see this cast go away. I am excited that Spider-Man is in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
RecreationGamingTV I have a good excuse to put Tobey Maguire in the MCU The tower that Spidey and Evnom fought on was Stark Tower under construction. Peter left New York before the Avengers incident because of Harry's death. After the Ultron incident, he returns.
One of my favourite movie Spidey scenes, period. The cinematography, the score and Spidey's gracefulness make this the best final swing ever (in my opinion). The TASM series wasn't as amazing as it could've been, but I'm glad we got it.
Best suit ever in all of the spider man movies. His black eyes are shiny, the suit is shiny. He kinda looks like an alien with this amazing suit. And the shape he makes at the end, this is what i see in comics.
While people really hate the suit design, I thought it was really good. This is literally a suit that someone can make if they put the time and the energy, It’s not like the Raimi suit (despite that suit being amazingly beautiful) where Peter could’ve built that suit in one go. This Peter actually put more of his intelligence in his suit and used house hold items to make it
That was the idea, Marc Webb wanted a suit a teenager could do with Internet research and home items (Like his dark glasses), it's still a bit too perfect for that but he took his time to design and perfect it. Truly way better suit making sequence than the Raimi's and MCU ones 👌🏼...
@@rifqiiszaree3393 They’re rated the least popular spider man for a reason.. it’s not just my opinion its a popular opinion😬. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see another TASM movie and see them do better, it’s just the previous movie felt like a musical and the interactions between Peter and Gwen almost always wants to make me throw up
@Somebody Else I agree with all what you said, I’m not a big fan of Tom holland either. I don’t know if what I’m saying is even correct but I feel like they’ve been trying to adapt these movies based on its current audience. You’d be surprised how many people defend and support Tom holland for him being him, his acting and so on. But it’s also understandable. It’s the audience, and a majority of them resonate with his character. Just like how many people resonate with Andrew Garfield’s version and so on. It all comes down to learning how to live with it, still sucks to see bad scripts, bad directing etc
@@Cocosrs popular opinion then lot of people love Andrew and gwen , there’s always cringe what do you expect from Spiderman lmao but surely this video aint cringe lmfao
As much as I liked all the other Spider-men... This is my personal opinion (best to worst) 1. TASM 2. Spider-Man 1 3. Spider-Man 2 4. TASM 2 5. Spider-Man 3 6. Homecoming (would most likely go up as time goes on because... MCU and their way of things)
Mine 1. No way home 2. Spider-Man 3 3. Tasm 2 4. Spider-Man far from home 5. Spiderman 1 6. Spider-Man 2 7. Spider-Man into the spider verse 8. Spider-Man home coming What upcoming Spider-Man movies im excited for (or wish it could come) 1. Part 2 of showing what happens after no way home 2. Tasm 3 showing how he moved on after Gwen’s death 3. Spider-Man 4 of TOBEY Maguire 4. Spider-Man across the spiderverse 5. Spider-Man miles morales where it’s not animated
Now I'm 2024 for all spider Man movies for decades Spider Man - Tobey Maguire (2002-2007) The Amazing Spider - Andrew Garfield ( 2012-2014) Mcu Spider Man - Tom Holland ( 2017- 2021) Animated Spider Man Into The Spider Verse - Shameik Moore Aka Miles Morales (2018 - 2023
So in love with the idea that you can express what’s going on in the characters head through a swinging scene. This one doesn’t really but I also wanted to mention how most of the movies have a last swing. It’s a nice tradition for spider man movies I’ve grown fond of
1:14🔥🔥🔥 comic book accurate. Don’t care what anybody says Andrew had the best cinematography and swinging sequences. If Sony wouldn’t have interfered with tasm I bet 1000% Andrew would’ve had the best movies
The whole scene looks like an easter egg, if you take a look, there's a lot of lights in the alley with clothes, and not just random clothes but green&yellow, the original colors of electro's suit.
Andrew became the best spiderman because despite losing all he carried on after the end of TASM 2.Tobey became the best Peter Parker because he defeated almost all his villians and was able to move forward in life with Mary Jane Waston. This was evident from their appearances in No Way Home.
I saw this opening day and I tell at the end audience just started clapping and freaking the fuck out. Hard to get out of that theater for a DC man. what I gotta see what the competition is putting out.
How come that this and TASM 2 cgi were almost realistic and then there's homecoming. A plastic/rubbery spidey with inconsistent look on his lenses. Come on disney!
I’m sorry what? I agree that TASM easily had the best action and swinging by far (Tom doesn’t swing much and Tobey just breaks the laws of physics) but T9m has the best suit mainly BECAUSE of the lenses. The shutters that make them bigger or smaller is the closest we can get to the moving eyes he had in the comics. Even though TASM 2 suit design and TASM suits in general had better quality suit designs, the past suits now seem silly in comparison to the moving lenses.
@@rasiahganeshkumar7189 Buddy, there's a huge difference between the topic of accuracy and quality. And I'm talking about the latter on my comment as you can see. Of course I applaud mcu's moving lenses but what I am stating is, the animation is very inconsistent. the swinging physics, the cgi double, and the placement of lenses. While sometimes it looks great: shorturl.at/lBIU7 shorturl.at/uvxO5 but most of the time it looks derpy as this: shorturl.at/iqOW6 shorturl.at/gknzB shorturl.at/fkKQ1 shorturl.at/csHI2 And for me those are horrifying to look at. So tl;dr I never said anything bad about the mcu suit's accuracy. It's the cg quality that I'm talking about.
How the actual heck did they manage to make movies that are SO EXTREMELY perfect yet not really good. Andrew was a perfect actor for everything he did, yet he didn't fit the role agewise. They should have put him in the role as Marvels spiderman(ps4). The music was amaaaazing and the swinging was BY FAR the best we've ever seen. The relationships were very well made and the fight scenes were great too. I think this movies biggest weakness is that some actor don't actually fit the role and there are a lot of little story elements that just aren't right
I think the movies were a bit clunky and same old same old tropes. And apart from the scenes which featured spidey in his suit. It looked like a very expensive commercial. Not that commercials are bad but u don't need montages in every other scene right. Still I love all the spiderman films just coz I am spider man fan. I enjoy them for what they are.
And it is beautifully accompanied by James Horner’s incredible score. I personally think that James Horner’s Spider-Man theme is heavily underrated and deserves more love.
As much as I love both Raimi and MCU take on Spider-Man, I can't deny that the most appealing cinematography is The Amazing Spider-Man film series. Especially the swinging sequences.
My top live action Spider-Man movies 1.Spider-Man 2 2. Spider-Man 3. TASM 4. Spider-Man 3 5. TASM 2 6. FFH 7. Homecoming And btw its not nostalgia, its because im a comic book fan.
Honestly, I like this movie the most JUST because of the visuals and how they dig into the whole cross species thing... I mean hell, even the suit, music, story, to the damn villain, everything fits I mean, no hate for the trilogy, it's a fantastic trilogy but it shows everything I already watched and read over and over again so uh... Basically because of personal reasons
Story aside, they really improved the swings and stunts that Spiderman always do in quick pace even. Plus, I love that despite it all being CGI, they still kept the wrinkles and folds of the suit in the details
I really agree, it suits the fact that he has just become Spider-Man and still has time to learn. This suit is my second favourite, my first Singh Tom hollands new suit revealed to us at the very end of Spider-Man no way home, a comic accurate suit to that of spectacular Spider-Man
