Folks, important question, how would you power rank the spider man's? Toby, Andrew, and Tom. GO! Also, what did you think of Andrew Garfield's portrayal of Spider-man? Reaction to The Amazing Spider-man 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-el7uM1gYCdo.html
Nah, for me Holland would be on par with Garfield right now. Tom's spidey, however, has a lot of room to grow in his future films. Still like him most anyways.
I don't know if there really are wrong answers. We like seeing the difference perspectives everyone has on a highly beloved character. All did very well for their times.
I don’t care what anyone says , this is my favorite adaptation of Spider-Man , I love the dark serious and realistic vibe. It’s more grounded this movie. I love the suit and tone and love this version way more then Tom as well. The second movie is meh, but Andrew had so much potential to be the best. Wish we saw a more fitting trilogy for Andrew - he deserved it.
@@BaddMedicine his acting saved these films imo...without him being a likable spiderman I think the rest of the film and the sequel would look way worse...you forget how meh the other stuff is cause he elevated the bad writing and material...he's probably the best live action spiderman..wish he had more to say emote do and act off of...this spiderman in a better film series would be perfect..he got the shaft from sony
Tasm series is the one that was comic accurate and also Andrews Spiderman acting was exactly as of a spider.. I love tasm series and the chemistry between emma and Andrew is just phenomenal
I like all 3 spidermen for different reasons. Toby had a softness that I really liked. Andrew got the serious and dark tone. and Tom feels like an actual teenager going through school. I love all of them. and I can't pick a favourite.
30:05 that dude is absolutely correct, just to let you know the next movie is still dark but it’s has more jokes or comedic moments than the first one due to the success of avengers movie, So him explaining the amazing spiderman was dark was because of dark knight rises was spot on!
im a big fan of andrew garfield and this performance as well as his others, my favorite actor, and i think he does great here, yea he’s a lil cool dude skater boy, and im the same way so its relatable… but his spiderman is awesome
This version was so good in my opinion I enjoyed how gwen is helpful and smart as well as Peter there were scenes like when he rescued the lil boy it's so cool I don't have favourite spider man I think they all good and each has pros and cons
22:23 It’s for this reason I personally loved the The Amazing Spider-Man. It’s dark, gritty and grounded. And in this movie, by the end, you get a sense that the city is also a character, the scene where the construction workers help out. I really like Andrew’s portrayal the most tbh. I like Tobey’s for nostalgic reasons. And sadly don’t like how Holland’s has been written. - I just get the impression that Holland’s Spidy thinks everyone will be ok, like if they’ve been beaten half to death that they’ll jump straight up and bounce straight back. Just feels like there’s no consequences or anything. That being said I really hope he ( well the writing ) steps the fuck up in No Way Home.
I agree with you in most areas of your answer. Tobey is my second favorite Spider-Man because of nostalgia and how great the movies and characters were, Andrew is the most underrated, but my favorite because of the realism and darker aspects of Spider-Man and had one of the best soundtracks I've heard from Spider-Man and best swinging scenes ever, and Tom is still a good Spider-Man but my least favorite and could've been written better (Andrew also could have been written better he does good for what he's got and Tom does good too.)
FLASH is a character who becomes agent venom in the comics NOT venom, but agent venom, he seriously kicks ass, and even than peter and flash still argue like crazy
Obviously it’s opinion based , but I like the 2nd over this but also love both of them more than any of the others - Andrew was a perfect spiderman - portrayed a badass , cocky , funny spiderman and I loved how he portrayed him , and then the villains were good too
Yup. Some of the dialogue is directly from "Ultimate Spider-Man", like Peter asking "Where the hell is he?"when Ben gives him the "Great responsibility"line.
I feel like this channel might be one of the big ones I love your reactions guys. Looking forward to The Amazing Spiderman 2 and Zack Snyder's Justice League 🔥🔥
@@BaddMedicine I’ll be there 😂 I’m honestly still sad they never made a third movie, but I’m really hoping we see Andrew’s Spider-Man developed further in No Way Home. I wonder if he’ll meet the Gwen Stacy on Earth 616
Andrew is physically the strongest, Tobey has unlimited webs, and Iron Boy Jr has tech based suits, so they all have their own advantages that I hope they'll highlight in the new movie.
If Tobey and Andrew were in marvel universe where everyone uses Stark tech or Vibranium they also would have used them to make suit 🤷 And Tom's spiderman is still a teenager And You are a hater
Iron boy jr? That makes no sense. If you’re calling Tom another iron man… wouldn’t he be called iron man jr ? Iron boy jr means that there was a superhero named iron boy, and Spider-Man is iron boy jr. .-.
@UChST9NGt-NPkefdW3qOizoQ he isn’t even hating bro shut the fuck up. And no they wouldn’t use Stark tech unless they personally know Stark. Cap doesn’t use Stark tech, Black Panther uses his own suit. They have no reason to use Stark tech unless they actually know him, Holland has Stark tech because he is in a way like Iron Man’s sidekick. Or was
Spider-Man originally didn't have organic webshooters. He made his mechanical ones himself, which showed his brilliance. The Ultimate comics said that he based the webbing on a molecular adhesive his dad was making before he died that Peter perfected to make himself his webs. "It's weird he has to trust a device and it's not in him." Me:Better than him losing his powers because of indecisiveness, lol.
a little sidenote...RIP Irfaan Khan, the Indian actor in the movie who played a antagonist besides Lizard....he was one of the best actors in Bollywood and in Indian cinema...and he had so many performances which were beloved by people all around the world including many Hollywood directors.....he died last year in 2020 during COVID and he is very much missed by all of us and seeing him pop up in some of these movies riles up all the emotions i have felt watching his movies....i would love if you guys would expand your horizons and watch some international movies too including his movies
Spiderman never shot webs from his wrist, he always had a device. Most of the time in the comics he had the web shooters. Except I think there was a run where he had organic webs.
It might just be because I really enjoyed this movie as a kid. But the Andrew Garfield spider man movies are personally still my favourite. Hated on too much.
Love that you added some outtakes at the end. had a good laugh with those. would be hilarious to do a separate outtake video with all the times you guys trip over you own words.
Facts. Garfield’s has experienced great loss just as Cap ( being as soldier ) has. And given they’re from neighbouring borough, it would give them a brotherly relationship. He would of course also get on with Tony as well given they’re both intelligent. He just would have sided with Cap as Pete prefers to keep his identify classified obviously to protect his loved ones but possibly also to have a more “normal” school life as he’s still young.
It's odd for me b/c I've been a Sam Raimi fan since the 90s and became a Spidey fan during that decade as well, yet I've never loved the original movie trilogy. I remember being disappointed by the 1st film especially after watching Darkman. The 2nd Maguire movie was just as entertaining as this reboot, while the 3rd was as much of a mess as Garfield's sequel. The Holland flicks have both been solid so far. So hype for No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness!
Quinn's reaction at 19:43 hehe 🤭 & 19:54 Dave "watching Spiderman as a spider crawling up the desk" Quinn "maybe you should of let it bite you who knows what would of happend" Dave "nah I'm good" 😂 also loved the outtakes at the end too! :D
Don't care about other opinions The movie was great, I absolutely fell in love with the suit and this darker spider man Tobey is the best peter parker Andrew is the best spider man Forever...
Hopefully after spiderman no way home they can make another amazing spiderman movie I know it wasn't the best spiderman series but it was still a good watch.
I wish people who get away from Tobey Spider-Man movies being the blueprint (I grew up on them.) They were good and iconic but not really accurate to THE Spider-Man. The web shooting is a good example. It bothers me that people still think Spider-Man is supposed to have organic webs. I honestly think Tobey's SM is the furthest from the comic Spider-Man.
I was pissed when they killed Dennis Leary only because I met him a year or so before that. He was walking out of the restroom that I was walking into and he nodded to me and said "what's up man" like he knew me but when I made a face like "wtf" he quickly realized he didn't know me and just kept walking.
If you guys like Andrew Garfield, you should react to “Hacksaw Ridge.” An amazing WWII true story about a soldier/medic you’ll never forget about. He was one of those humans that despite unfair set backs, and alienation/hatred from his unit that. He accomplished an imaginable achievement……. I don’t wanna spoil his story, but not only is it a great movie. It’s true history and through it you can remember the man, keeping his memory, his story alive, is a tribute to him. If that story was fictional, you’d hate it because you find the story beyond believable, to the point of ridiculousness. If you pitched the story to a studio, they’d say “that’s nice but it’s too unrealistic, the audience would never believe it” But it’s true…..
@@BaddMedicine excellent news. You just got yourself a sub! I don’t wanna miss that. Btw unrelated note, nothing shameful about crying at movies, especially true war stories….Mel Gibson should have won best director and Garfield should have got best actor. But Damien chameleon and Casey Affleck got them instead.
Somebody actually saying good things about TASM! No one ever does, I’m glad I’m seeing positive things toward the film. Flash has mommy issues, if you pay attention lmao
Great reaction gents🍻Love these i just watched the amazing Spider-Man 2 last night lol I love these films and the world building both of them were doing for their own spider-verse before It got canned I suggest looking into info about the extended darker cut of amazing Spider-Man 2 it sounded soo sick hope we still get it
@@BaddMedicine it didnt get officially released almost did around home release time.. in these new scenes differ from the deleted scenes that can be found anywhere.. the scenes in the Extended Cut Were filmed and edited.. And part of the darker ending involves a villain that I don't want to spoil yet until you guys post the reaction for Amazing Spider-Man 2😏😏 i hope if no way home only says a lot of height for the spider-verse then we'll get the Extended Cut.. there's also an Extended Cut for The Amazing Spider-Man 1 I'm not too sure what was in that but a good amount was taking out
Please do a amazing spider man 2 movie reaction I'd love to know your opinions and see your reactions ,cuz the music, vfx, swinging are the most well done ever in spider man history.
Garfield’s Spider-Man is the most comic accurate live action Spider-Man we’ve seen to date. From his web shooters to his quips. The writing isn’t the best in either of his movies and his portrayal of Peter isn’t great either but his Spider-Man is easily my favourite
Did you know the guy who was followed by Peter in oscorp was an extremely talented Indian actor Irfan Khan He died last year You should watch some of his movies he has done some god level acting in movies
@@BaddMedicine his some hollywood movies are Slumdog millionaire Life of Pie Jurassic World Some Indian movies Hindi medium D-Day The lunch box(best movie of his career) Etc.
PS ~ Tobey maguire's spiderman was actually different because he didn't use web shooters, it came out of his arms organically. The comics mostly used web shooters. Not everyone but it was way more common actually.
In this order… Tobey Andrew Tom And I agree that I like the darker tone of this one. I do not like the cartoonish tone of the newest Spider-Man films with Ton Holland. He’s annoying and whiny as fuggg.
I gotta say, The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man Homecoming are really fun movies. Tasm is a good romance movie, and Homecoming is a good teen comedy, but to me, they aren't great Spider-Man movies. They don't really tell good Spider-Man stories, definitely not as a great as the Raimi trilogy.
Yeah I saw that too Many people hated this Suit so much... I was like wtf? It was one of my Favorite suit apart from de other Spideys! They hated it just Bcoz of de Black Eye Lense so they changed it in de Next movie into Big White Eye Lenses!
Andrew Garfield is the best actor to play Spider-Man. He just pulls off all the emotions of Spider-Man so well. I like Tom Holland but his movies don't have the emotional depth, and Tobey's movies were great. But if I had to choose one to bring out the raw emotion out of you, then Andrew Garfield is the guy to go. Its a shame that they didn't give him good material to work with.
I love the Amazing Spiderman! The story was captivating! Andrew is hands down the best actors of the 3. He made me really feel for him. I wish we got his 3rd movie. The both Tom Holland Spiderman movies have just been average for ne
Garfield is my favorite Spidey. He's the perfect awkward Peter and sarcastic Spider-Man. Tobey was too whiney. Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina made the first two Raimi films good.
Gotta say Andrew is my fav especially since it’s the one I grew up with. The Tobey ones came out before I was born or when I was like 2 for the 3rd one so it was hard to watch it til I was old enough
In terms of overal power (Strength, Spd, etc.): 1. Tobey 2. Tom 3. Anderew In terms of favorite: 1. Tobey (The best movies and villains and fight scenes) 2. Andrew (Seems to act the most like Spider-Man in the comics0 3. Tom (Good actor, but the character himself is too dependent on others and his fight scenes are very boring)
Tobey Maguire is the superhuman spiderman. So right off the bat, Tobey's spiderman is the strongest of the three. So my ranking score board 1-10 Tobey Maguire --- Spiderman: 10 ___ Peter Parker: 9.5 Andrew Garfield --- Spiderman: 9 ___ Peter Parker: 8.5 Tom Holland ---- Spiderman: 9.5 ___ Peter Parker: 9.5 Tobey did a flawless job as SpiderMan and really captured the innocent dorky side of Peter Parker. Andrew did a great job as Spidey, but I feel like his Peter was a bit too grungy/dark for me. Tom Holland has done an epic job as our modern day Spidey, and done as good of a job with Peter as I would want. All the spiderman versions are great, but Tobey's Spiderman brought a sense of gravitas that has not been matched since. But this is all my opinion
