In MY personal opinion, Andrew’s Spider-Man is a more accurate version of the character, he had the best suit (the TASM2 suit), the personality, the quips (which is something that Tobey’s Spider-Man lacked), his spider sense was shown better (it’s even better in tasm2), they portrayed his agility more, his smarts, and also his fighting/combat style focuses more on speed and the use of his webs whiles Tobey’s Spider-Man focuses more on straight punching, and I’m 21 so I grew up with Tobey’s Spider-Man, but honestly andrew’s is my favorite Spider-Man (My Opinion)
Honestly I genuinely love all versions for different reasons. That said- this is one of the best explanations of why Andrew’s version is so damn good. Agreed on all counts
Andrew is easily the best Spiderman and this movie great his Spiderman is more like Earth 616 and Ultimate Spiderman comic versions. Also the QUIPS! Are perfect his mannerisms as well
2012 was the best time for Marvel movies like The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man. And after seeing The Avengers on the big screen, I got my friends from high school together to see The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D, and the visual effects were on point. And most of all, Andrew Garfield played the character so well in the first movie.
Me too. You hear how they said when Ben got shot that’s what he gets cuz he was trying to get the gun away from the robber I was like okay shut up he was only trying to help the guy that’s called bravery lol
Garfield is definitely one of the best adaptations of Peter/Spidey. He brought the wisecracking jokes back that tobey never used to do. His swinging sequences in this and the next movie are definitely the best of all the live action spideys by far. Especially opening of the next one! They were initially trying to do a Sinister Six movie but once they made the deal with marvel to bring Spidey to the MCU that was cancelled. I’m really hoping they do a TASM3 as Andrew is an amazing actor and his chemistry with Emma Stone was fantastic.
@@horsekfobster7823 tobeys got no Spider-Man quips “I’m gonna put some dirt in your eye”, he never dates Gwen (which he does in the comics), and they cast adults to play as teenagers. None of this makes him an accurate Spider-Man. With that said I love tobey but other than working for Jameson he doesn’t have much accuracy. In MY opinion tobey is the best Peter Parker, Andrew is the best Spider-Man and Tom is a.. decent mix of the two with some mcu changes.
The person speaking to Doctor Connors in the post-credits scene was Gustav Fiers (The Gentleman, Man in the Shadows), a criminal with ties to Oscorp Industries and an associate of Norman Osborn.
In my opinion Andrew was the best spider man, his movies are lowkey worst than the others but that’s not his fault, that’s the direction, but Andrew’s acting, body language and everything was better than all other spiders, so he is my favorite, bring him back and put a good Director, best spidey
Back in the day I was so scared of Spider-Man growing up because of the first Toby Maguire movie. Born in June 2002 after the movie came out and I finally saw it at age 4 because they keep promoting it on Cartoon Network. Was so afraid because of Will Defoe lol. Then seeing Andrew Garfield on the big screen in 2012, showed how Spider-Man was more than I thought. A Kid who is really smart but doesn’t know what to do in the future. That changed my life from the greatest superhero ever created. That he still a kid trying to figure out what do in life.
The thing that some people had a problem with in this film is that Andrew while being a really well casted Peter Parker/spider man, was much more cool version of Peter. Peter is always portrayed as a super shy nerdy kid at first, but that's not really the case in this film.
Andrew as Peter is actually more true to the comics than the shy nerd persona we get shown. He was very cocky and an ass at times, and that’s exactly what this one portrayed.
38:16 Nah Andrew's Peter seemed like it took longer to become Spider-Man and even when he did, he was still figuring things out whereas Tobey's goes from 'avenging' Uncle Ben to immediately having his official spidey suit and getting recognition from the locals They both have montages in that early beginning part of their career as Spidey but in terms of practice, we get a lot more screentime seeing what it's like for Andrew's Peter From the subway scene, to confronting Flash, practicing in that... whatever building, to Ben's death, his vigilante hunt montage, developing his webbing, more vigilante-ism, to developing different outfits, and then finally having his first Spidey suit.. but he's still not Spider-Man cuz he's still on his revenge quest until he saves the little boy and realizes he needs to do more than hunt for one caricature of a criminal, and actually protect people In comparison, Tobey's Peter confronts Flash, gets into a wrestling match and then hunts down the criminal... and then he's a full-fledged Spider-Man immediately
Andrew Garfield is by far the best spider man. Toby is the best peter parker. And Tom is the a good mix, I agree with tom had the wave of te MCU behind his movies were as Andrew had to live up to the Toby trilogy. For me andrew all the way 💪👊
Cops and donuts came about because a lot of donut shops were the only thing open in the vampire hours. So cops would do their paperwork there and the businesses didn’t mind because it was a good disincentive for criminals.
This movie isn’t the best written Spider-Man but it has the best actor and it’s the best shot. I think the swinging sings in this movie is very reminiscent to the Spider-Man video games. Also Andrew and Emma had the best chemistry out of the lead couples.
I can’t wait for The Sinister Six (Chameleon, Kraven, Scorpion 🦂, Shocker, Rhino 🦏, Sandman e.t.c.) to get introduced in the MCU and other Spider 🕷️ Man 👨 Villains 🦹♂️ (The Inheritors, Hobgoblin, Black Cat 🐈⬛ , Man 👨 Spider 🕷️ e.t.c.)
I used to dislike this movie and Andrew, but only since I was a Toby fanboy. Watching it over, I think it's better than most of the SM films. Emma was really good too. Holland goes on the bottom for me after rewatching them all. Toby still on top though
Andrew garfield by far best spider-man hes an amazing actor love interest gwen by far better then maryjane people only like tobey because hes an actual meme people only refer to him for emo spider-man as nothing to do with actual story Tobey mad overrated he only as better villains everything else worst.
You guys have a terrible selection of movies. Not that these movies are bad to watch but as a reaction channel it is bad to watch these kind of old forgotten movies. It's not about my preference its about you guys having a more successful channel
idek how they got to this point because they are terrible reactors. they talk over everything are always confused and their trailer reactions are even worse, they manage to talk over every piece of dialogue. their reactions just aren’t even fun to watch cause they always be joking and missing the best scenes anyway
@@penguin50279 yea now you mention it. They litteraly talk over every dialogou😂 I watch alot of their anime reactions and in the end discussions they're Always confused or say the most dumb stuff without knowing they're wrong. Their old reactions were cool tho. But like alot of reactors when they go professional they just force themselves to react. Nothing feels genuine anymore.
@@penguin50279that is so true it’s annoying I’m here like why are they still talking like shut up I’m a lil behind in them reacting to the movie as well🤣
The reason this Peter Parker was fast and fluid with no problems is cause the DNA that’s mixed within the spider is peters fathers DNA That’s why everything was fine, if it wasn’t peters fathers dna in the spider their prolly could have been a situation like dr connors with the mutation
The thing with Spider 🕷️ Man 👨 3 was Interference from the studio telling Raimi to change his direction by introducing Venom who Raimi hated, didn’t know much about the character and didn’t want him to be in the movie 🍿
