I’m not gonna lie, when I first watched the episode The Burden in my country, I personally didn’t get to see the Principal Brown and Lucy Simian romance scene and most of the frames of the episode's song, because of course, they have been censored in my country, yet I didn't know that at the time, so when I rewatched the episode on television with the scenes uncensored in… I don’t know what year or month exactly, I honestly wasn’t too disgusted by the censored scenes that were left uncensored on that rewatch, I was actually a little bit scared and confused asking myself in my thoughts if it was just an extended version of the episode or if my TV itself was broken or that the Cartoon Network channel in my country was just not working properly, I literally had to change the TV channel for a few seconds and back again to see if my TV or the Cartoon Network channel were still functioning right that day, only to see that they were still functioning normally as if nothing abnormal ever happened, and now here I am in 2024, now knowing that these disturbing scenes from the episode are actually part of the episode but were censored when the episode first aired in my country (Chile 🇨🇱).
