Truly the best archery practice there is. Judo has been in my bow quiver since day one. Shot a shot or 2 on way into stand and on way out. Bought a 2 pack 97 and still have the same ones. Great job on this Jason.

It’s so funny you upload this cause I recently got some of these judos and you’re right I can’t believe how well they have held up and I put them on the front of my 2016 aluminums and they do really well!

I love these Judos. I walk the Two Tracks up North (Michigan) In the Fall when the Ruffed Grouse Fly down and Peck in the Sand and Gravel. Great Bow Practice As well as Birds in the Pot. 👍

Love it! Nothing better than roving the woods with a judo in the quiver

This is a well deserved rant. Great head that opens up the world of stumping. I tried hex heads for stumping and they don’t penetrate at all. The lack of scrubbing off momentum can shatter a shaft.

I like hex heads for squirrels and judo for stumps

Judos are a must-have in the quiver. I also recommend the larger/wider condor points if you are going for birds. They give a bit more margin of error in my experience.
@tradbowpodcast

Yep those bird versions are awesome too!

Put three number 10 washers behind it and that will add 36 grains. I use the bludgeon points 125 grain and screw a short wood screw in the front of it with a small nut plus 3 washers behind it to give me 200 grains. It is great to shoot at straw bale targets to prevent pass thru's with heavy arrows. Also arrow will not snake under the grass. I shoot Judos also.

What’s the secret to getting them to stay in the quiver? Do they need a designated hole in the foam? Mine slide out very easily. They fall down while shooting. Maybe it’s the softness of the original Great Northern foam that comes stock on the quiver. Thoughts? Insights?
@tradbowpodcast
@tradbowpodcast 3 месяца назад
I have a dedicated hole for mine and I change my quiver foam to a yoga block. Works well and it stays put.

He is totally right. The chinesium judo knockoffs are terrible. I haven't broken a zwickey judo yet

I can't understand why they don't make some heavier models 175, 200, 225, 250, etc...

Get the glue on with the aluminum glue on adapter. I use steel adapters in mine.

Hi Jason, I've never used a Judo head before. Do they replicate the same trajectory as a field tip? As my initial thoughts is that they look like they might have a lower point of impact due to aerodynamic shape. Thanks.
@tradbowpodcast
@tradbowpodcast 11 месяцев назад
They fly and hit just like a field tip. It's just near impossible to loose one letting you shot at anything like rotten stumps, pine cones leaves, etc.

I always keep a 100gr Judo point to stump shoot out of my stand and ground level out to 60yds the springs are superior to the other knock offs they put tear damage on small game and arrow recovery is easy with FMJs shot at 280fps with a Vertix and springs are awesome
