Very well done. I studied Moran's hoods closely prior to my own hood making journey. I've been making dutch hoods for almost 40 years, and the process never gets old.

Wow, Kent Carnie, a Legend in American falconry. I remember talking to Kent at the California Hawking Club meet in Bakersfield, sometime around 1998. Good to see him in great shape.

Thank You Kent for sharing a part of the history of American hood making. I would enjoy seeing more about the hood makers who continue to evolve the design of hoods for better fit and shape and of those who created ideas and changes along the way. Such as the "Spring Wire" hood brace created in 1962 by Bob McCallum as a way of opening and closing hoods without the use of leather braces as were used then.
