That joke Tatiana made about hoping they don’t kill half the Eastern Seaboard is, I think, what pushed Oleg over the edge into telling Stan. Because Oleg’s desire to do the right thing outweighs his patriotism. 💗

A combination of that and the sunlight reflected on clouds incident.

I think it was covered in an earlier season, the scenes from Phillip/Mischa's childhood after the war, having to beat other kids to death with a rock to stay alive...I think of their kids. How they truly have zero clue about what their parents went through at their ages, just like I, a 40 year old man, has no idea what my 84 year old dad went through as a kid being born in 1940 and how RADICALLY different today's world is.

17:08 They should have said. Look since you say "I might as well know everything now." That might sound neat, something you can say "that makes sense, doesn't it?" But that's not true. Ever heard of plausible deniability? You KNOW now what we do is illegal. The instant we give you details, especially details you ASK for, you become an accomplice, no matter if you are an active participant or not - You become someone law enforcement might want to make an example of, not someone who could possibly be made to simply testify to make their case. So no - No details, no info beyond "need to know" to function on a daily basis - maintain this family.

2:55 She was no doubt scared beyond belief and THEN her mother killed a guy. She was traumatized AND her whole perception of her mother was altered radically, She had her mother labeled as her "MOTHER" and there was recently added some "spy" whatever that meant in her head, then she was suddenly given a non Bond movie nonsense lesson in what that means - Give her a minute to come down and process, man.
