I wonder how inaccurate the post combat reports of the Japanese navy . Because the us navy was intact and we also found out most of the post combat reports were grossly exaggerated

Ugaki is 'mistanen'; there were only six(6) escorting A6M3 Zeros with Yamamoto and himself.

The tragedy was that USA would eventually prevail as he told the general staff. We have awaken a sleeping giant' Yet he followed his emperor wish to fight. USA shot him for Pearl Harbour. His plane crushed into the jungle. Blind obeisance.

@@macgordonaberese-ako4587 Yamamoto never actually said that- it was a fiction by an American screenwriter. Yamamoto was a naval officer- he disagreed with the decision to go to war with the British and Americans but it was his duty to conduct it the best that he could. ALL military career officers are obliged to serve their country and refusal is treason.

He comments on the breaking of their code as if wasn't manly or it was devious well wasn't their arttack on Pearl Harbor without a declaration of war by a sneak attack pretty diabolical ?
