A lot of people in this comment section saying that this music is "just screaming" and sounds like shit and etc. because of it. For one, if you're just gonna bash it and sound like an ignorant prick then why waste all of our time. And for two, if you think it's all "just screaming" then you should probably check out the lyrics, look at pittsburgh for example, or check out Being as an Ocean and tell me that those songs are "just screaming." Different artists have different ways of portraying their messages and if you can't accept that without putting your derogatory 2cents in then you shouldn't bother straying from your own tastes in music.

I LOVE Lana and TAA, I can honestly say I love both versions of this song for their own perspective reasons. Lana's has this nostalgic vibe to it that I really enjoy and then there's this version that just has that "gotta headbang" vibe going for it.

If you're already a fan of Amity, you'll love it. Otherwise if you're used to cheesy pop music of course your gonna hate it. Stop trashing the music we love just because you like Lana better. I don't like Lana but I love Amity's version because they use the same lyrics but change it and give it more instrument. It goes so well with the rest of the chasing ghosts soundtrack, maybe if you listened to the whole album you'd hear the progression of story within all the lyrics.

Ahren's clean vocals sound way better to my ears for this song than Lana's, and Joel's rough vocals and the whole sound of this band just gives it a great edge. Personally I really didn't like the original. Maybe it's because I found Amity's version first, but this version is better for me.

This version "slays" Lana del Rey's original song and if Lana were a baseball she just got smashed out of the stadium. This is an awesome example of when a cover is better than the original.

these are two different types of sounds, honestly not really comparable.. i feel like those who like lana's better is because of the emotion it conveys when she sings it. I think the different vibes you get from the two, even though the lyrics are the same, is pretty cool. In my opinion, that's what should be compared..not who did it better, when their genre has no similarities whatsoever.

I personally love Lana Del Rey AND Amity Affliction I really like that my favourite band covered my favourite singer. I like both versions to be completely honest and can't choose between which is better. But if you like Lanas better, Amitys better, both or neither; it doesn't matter to me. You're entitled to your own opinion but that doesn't give you the right to the hate on either. Saying mean things about celebrity's is still cyber bullying. Musician or not.

Heh - I like & appreciate both versions of this song. I don't mind clean female vox (Lana, bjork, imogen heap etc.), clean male vox or screaming (parkway, alexis, etc)... According to the comments I have no musical taste though - shame! I never understand how people can be so opinionated & critical over something so subjective like music.
