Geetly's! Today I found out that the clone who punched a droid in the battle for chirstophsis maybe survived. In season 4 episode 4: gungan attack you see a clone punching a quarren soldier, may this be the same clone XD?
Geet, bro go back to forgotten troopers... Stu the gunnary captain, are those not Jag eyes? The armour marking only given to very specific troopers over the clone wars... I watched your video on em but they didn't mention Stu... Are those not Jag eyes?
He probably would have saved him so that he could kill him himself later on so that Moralo didn’t get the credit for killing him and so that he could die in a fair fight.
CAD Bane is definitely made a name for himself in Clone Wars I see as the infamous Bounty Hunter that acceded Jango Fett and 1 UPS Calo Nord. At least he has some aspects of Honor when dealing against worthy opponents, and it would make sense that if he was going to be defeated by anyone it would be jango's son.
One more thing about Cad Bane, is he never came off as cruel or malicious. He just a working man trying to get by in the galaxy, while flexing his inherent skill as a bounty hunter.
"I will only employ bounty hunters who work for money. Those who work for the pleasure of the hunt tend to do dumb things like even the odds to give the other guy a sporting chance." -- Peter's Evil Overlord List, Rule #44
@@nuclearjanitors The "Disney Star Wars (which I realize that a lot of people hate) is so bad and I'm going to insult it" joke. It's been two years since The Last Jedi came out and the joke has honestly gotten too old.
@@koolmckool7039 what if he's genuinely remorseful that Disney has been unable (or unwilling) to create solid characters? I know I am. Just because The Last Jedi came out two years ago doesn't devalue his opinion on Disney's handling of the franchise. If you're tired of it, so be it, we're tired of talking about it too.
Cad Bane was an awesome character, I think a video game where you play as him or work with him as a bounty hunter would be awesome (but will never happen)
Geetsly...what if Sidious chose to continue to train Maul after killing Savage..why wouldnt he keep Dooku running the Seps. And Maul would continue to train under Sidious..i cant really remember why sidious kept maul alive anyway..besides plot armour.
Aaron Maul was served as bait to lure Talzin, the only capable force user besides Yoda that can match Sidious. It was focused on the son of Dathomir comic
Don't forget, he didnt even try to fight Obi-wan when met while tracking Zero the Hutt. He simply wanted to move on and didn't engage until Kenobi became the aggressor
Cad Bane, when asked to steal a holocron, stated that the feat was deadly and effectively impossible. Sidious' response was simple, "perhaps your reputation was exaggerated." Cad Bane immediately changed from "impossible" to "this is what I want in return." His desire to prove his superiority was quickly grasped by Sidious, and it was that simple desire being prodded which caused him to take a job he considered impossible.
Bane actually also likely said that so he could jack up his rates as high as possible and make him asking for a starship and triple his rate reasonable
I think it might have been a joke/ploy/justification for jacking his rates higher. "Unfortunately, its impossible." "I see." "Thus, the fee will be much higher for this job." His sense of humor is extremely subtle, but it is indeed there.
If Anakin remembered that he could force jump and move at 3x's speed that'd be your ass in a cyborg suit you jedi bitch. Enjoy never knowing the love of a woman you slave using hypocritical bitch.
In the deleted scene from clone wars season 7 bane and boba got into a duel and boba won and killed bane but bane left the dent in bobas helmet which we see today. Fun fact
Trenton Miller I also saw a video from stupendous wave that he survived and served for palpatine during the empire. However given his quality of content has dropped a lot over the years I’m not sure how reliable it is
Bane was actually a pretty well written character. Not just a badass Clint eastward copy cat kind of character. He was his own character. Tough, smart, and honorable
Cad Bane was based on the character Angel Eyes, played by Lee Van Cleef from The Good the Bad and the Ugly and Boba Fett was based on Clint Eastwood's character The Man With No Name from the same movies
*CAD BANE:* If you're gonna kill someone, DO IT LIKE A MAN! This one badass line shows that Bane has no respect for cowards. Truly, a respectible bounty hunter.
Wouldn't call him respectable, he's kinda a terrorist, not to mention the several counts of murder. In fact the line is kinda ironic coming from him. He's still a cool character tho
@@aprilsummers6447 he's a good bounty hunter, but I don't think he's a respectable one. But in his defense it's hard to be a good bounty hunter and a respectable bounty hunter at the same time
He was also prepared to walk away from Kenobi and Quinlan Vos after finding Ziro dead. He even said “no point sticking around" he wasn't going to fight until they said they were going to capture him.
Cad is such a badass imagine if he fought Jango. Can you do the Gray Paladins from coruscant nights? They're a Jedi faction that used blasters and other weapons one was so good that she was able to send one of her own bolts straight up an enemy's blaster barrel. They also believed in using the force as little as possible so they focused on other skills like martial arts and military tactics like guerrilla warfare, urban tactics, espionage, and infiltration.
An that probably woulda made them Palpatines MOST dangerous enemies. Cuz they can then use powerful abilities to enhance already top notch fighting and Espionage skills.. If only enough had survived 66 theyd been probably a huge thorn in the Siths side
@@brosephnoonan223 sure it is. Hondo might not be a ruthless killer or super skilled in fighting, but he definitely was someone who like, cad bane, looked out for himself first, but also valued certain things which skewed his "villainesque" moral compass. He was definitely an anti-hero, he was willing to hijack and attempt to steal lightsabers from younglings for personal gain; but when the republic needed something shipped illegally, like the RPG's for Saw guereras group; he was there and willing to help, so long as they didn't act like they were on a moral high horse.
During the box episode, I was confused why Bane wasn't suspicious of Hardeen for trying to get all the bounty hunters out alive, which was pretty un-bounty-hunter-like behavior. If it hadn't been Obi-Wan in disguise and had really been Hardeen, I doubt he'd have called out to the rest, "hey there's safety down here!" or "I figured out the pattern!" Bounty hunters are generally concerned with their own skin and don't go out of their way to rescue others, even if they're like Bane and respect their skilled enemies.
If I recall he also wanted to prove himself against Jango Fett. When Jango was alive, Jango was #1 and Bane was #2 but since Jango died they never had a chance to compete. They were going to explore this in the unfinished clone wars episodes. Hopefully we'll see them soon
Schmoe if embo's metal hat could cut things then he would be space Kung Lao, the reason why I say this is because he throws his hat a few times in the show at his enemies to knock them down or knock them out and when he catches his hat he swerves his fingers on it in a similar manner that Kung Lao from Mortal Kombat does when he catches his hat.
@@funbro99 I would say a bit of lawful evil and good, but mostly lawful neutral. Boba and Jango operated through a strict moral code. Even deathwatch did to an extent. And now from what the trailer looks like, the Mandalorian will act the same way (lawful neutral).
I know he's meant to be a bad guy but I really hope that after the clone wars, he lived a good life. I my respect may not be as skill driven as his but he's just too good to just die for nothing. I also don't accept the theory that Boba Fett killed him in a duel since A) Boba had armour. Bane didn't. Neither people will be stupid enough to make something like that up. B) The scene was not officially released.
@@dtxspeaks268 eh I already saw the finale to which I don't know if it was a good idea to have bane be killed off but let's be real book of Boba fett is literally Mando season 1.5 after the 4th episode
Cad bane is my favourite bounty hunter I even prefer him to the fetts just because he is a duros my favourite star wars species he has an epic voice and how he can stand up to jedi even defeating quinlon vos
Cad Bane when accepting a bounty from Nute Gunray: "The legends my old pappy used to tell me say that our people were once one... So much for genetics."
Cad Bane is such an interesting character. I hadn't given it much thought til recently. He's definitely one of my favourite bounty hunters, alongside Embo and Boba
Maul’s final battle with Obi Wan is short, but epic af. Pays off decades of their dueling abilities and shows just how much both characters have, and have not grown during their time apart.
