The verse you mentioned is an excellent example of Paul preaching about cultural issues. During Paul's time women were not afforded the same education that men were. Paul was addressing women asking questions during church which would have been an interruption since men did not sit with the women. I know that you will believe what you choose however so I will not respond anymore so this is not a distraction. There are plenty of places to debate Theology.
Jesus loved people and I don't think he judged them for their hair. The bible says it's not what goes into a man but what comes out that defiles him. People think they are Holier than thou that it makes me sick. I use to be a part of a church like that and even thought the way i dressed and how long my dress or hair was would get me to heaven. Well our church had long hair , long dresses and LONG TONGUES. I am sorry I was ever a part of that. Jesus help us all.
The original song writer and singer is Lawrence Chewning. Please address this copywright issue. You can also link his channel. I'll check back later. Thank you
Perhaps you should read a few verses later where it talks about not having divisions among us. Surely you are not trying to create one and therefore break with "doctrine".
Your probably right. My Theology degree can't stand up to your "interpretation" of doctrine. How can you believe that women should not be silent in church but you do believe that long hair is a shame. Sounds like you are picking and choosing which "doctrines" you accept.
Wow. Talk about needing to remove the plank from thy own eye. Do you also believe that women should not go to church without headwear? Did it ever occur to you that some of Paul's teachings may have been context and culturally sensitive especially since Paul was under the impression Jesus would return during his lifetime?
