A person was saying before the map was opened that she was looking forward to the new time, I think said going to be 3 days of 5 hours in game. I know it takes a lot longer to get them to age so could be right. I was watching 2 4 star elk in one heard & 3 different sambar at lvl4 & a red deer lvl 4 star. I was annoyed everyone died, lol

The toolbox did in fact get updated. One thing I noticed is that some animals on Matariki have 3 drinking, 3 feeding, and 3 resting zones (unless that's a mistake)

Interesting vid bumble! Definitely a good idea using the tripods as a calander. I'll have to do that! Thanks as always! Also, Have you ever seen a deer with 1 antler in your time playing or on discord? Found a red deer with only the right antler. I wanted to harvest it to see if it stayed but he was a 2* adult so thought I'd see what he'd end up as. Not seen that before myself.

Apparently the deer with one antler is a bug. I guess the other antler appears upon harvest

Great video!!! I have noticed as you pointed out in some of your other videos, alot of loner animals on the map. And as someone said, this is like going to the farm, or as I say, the zoo and get you some of what ever you want, it is like a buffet on this map.

Place a tripod in the water and get on it then get off it and you will be able to stand on top of the tripod. Plus I had a drear I shot run under the water and die. I couldn't get it. They should add swimming and diving capabilities for such things like this. Or just add a legend of zelda hookshot to grab that dang out of the water lol

I have had the deer charge me as well. I stepped out of the way just in time like dodge ball and that messed up the charge code I think because it didn't turn around and try again.

The coding for the charge is fairly simplistic I think

They added at least a min to the timed played for tika, compared to the older maps, so it wouldn't surprise me if NZ is longer yet

I swear I'm still confused on the process of how to age animals, i.e. how long do I need to play in-game before I go to the camp and sleep, for example if I start at 7:00 am

3 in game days is a year, how long the player has to remain in each day for it to count is now a bit unknown. It can vary per map. The cooldown is longer on tikamoon for example. I think the cool down on Matariki is the longest. I do not know what it is. Most likely 15 real minutes will work. Probably faster. Other maps I was just doing 5 real minutes. The devs are able to change this without informing the players

@@bumblewoot I see, I'm trying to find a five-star sambar dear, they age slower, 4 years to mature, 6 years to adult then another 6 years to die. That means a lot of waiting time if it's 15 min per day wow. Thank you for answer I appreciate it and I love your videos

@@sharonsegal1255 yes it does take a while. But the devs do not actually want the player to be able to do it easily. It is quicker than 15 minutes, but looks like it is now longer than 5 minutes.

15 min for 1 day irl seems to work for me 45 for a year

5 minutes worked for me last night aging a melanistic fallow. I use a 5 minute timer on my stream deck. Actually now I'm thinking about it he was at 87% so he should of been a 5 star? Maybe it did increase.

I'm not sure James. I aged there just like I do the other maps and some days did not count 🤷‍♂️ I was too fast somewhere
